Do people still use face wash and if so, which one?

I've used garner skin active face wash (the one that reduces skin blemishes and doesn't dry your face) throughout my 20s. Now in my early 30s and I'm not a fan of it anymore. It just doesn't do anything for me plus the smell seems to have changed.

I am after a gentle face wash I can use first thing in the morning when in the shower, and occasionally in the evening if I haven't worn makeup throughout the day.

My skin type is pretty normal, prone to the odd spot and sensitivity during my period, but otherwise normal tone in the summer months, slightly drier in winter months.

La Roche Posay Effaclar foaming is lovely for oily/acne prone skin. I use the toner and moisturiser too. It's on offer at the moment!

The Inkey List oat balm cleanser is lovely

Another vote for Superdrug Vit E hot cloth cleanser

Cerave Hydrating cleanser on its own in the mornings is lively - also in the evenings after an oil cleanser if I've been wearing make up/spf

I use Cerave's foaming cleanser (buy when on offer) :

Clinique facial wash for me - it’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Even my daughter uses it and she has eczema

I use Cerave, so do my girls. It’s very gentle.

What's your budget? Kate Somerville Goat Milk cleanser is gorgeous.

I use a balm at night and nothing in the morning but I do like the m&s cleansers, Ren jelly, espa.
