Jumpsuits - out of my comfort zone. Is this ok?

I love jumpsuits on other people, and have been looking for one for ages. I'm very much a jeans and t shirt person though and struggle with knowing what suits me. I've also put on some weight with pregnancy/lockdown so my body shape has changed. I'm 5'10 with shortish legs and a long body, so lots of jumpsuits just don't fit.

Is this one ok? It's very comfortable, but do I look like I'm wearing pyjamas?

Looks much too short in the legs, to me, and that is making it look to small in general. Like you ordered a child size by mistake.

I like the v at the front best.

It looks fantastic on you, but only the right way round with the V at the back.

It's cut to fit that way round & so the fit is way better on you with the V at the back. 👍🏻

I think you look gorgeous and slim, and it looks fine either way around. My only slight issue is that the legs look short. On the catalogue pic, the legs come much further down but they look cropped on you.

This is a personal bugbear of mine as I have very long legs and nothing EVER fits me in the leg, despite the fact I'm only a little bit taller than average. So I'm prepared to accept I might be more sensitive to the leg length than the average person!

How does it feel sitting down? That will be the way to tell if you need to go up a size or not.

If it was me , I would order the next size up just as a comparison to check I was 100% sure of the correct size. But that’s just my personal view as I like things a little looser .

Thank you all for taking the time to comment, it's been really helpful. I'm reassured that, although it might not be perfect, I'm on the right lines. I'll wear this one (probably both ways round - nice to have options!) but keep looking for something that's a bit better fit.

Blimey you look absolutely brilliant in it. People who want billowing jumpsuits with lots of spare fabric - super for them. You look great in yours, both ways round. Probably upside down too.

@JofraArchersFastestBall I think you look great. The jumpsuit really suits you. Thank you for heads-up about People Tree. I had never heard of them before. Just been along to their site. They give a 25% discount to NHS staff. They also have a clearance section.

It looked too small when you had the v at the front but when you changed it round it looks great! Perfect fit!

Looks lovely on both you and the model. Prefer the v at the back as it kinda hangs better. I also think the fit is fine, people are used to the baggy floaty dresses which I don't think would showcase the jumpsuit well.
