Shapewear that does the job?

Can anyone recommend something decent that doesn't cost £££ or is it the old 'get what you pay for' rule? I'm a 'generous' 18 and just want a slightly smoother silhouette - preferably 'short' rather than 'slip' type. Any recommendations?

Oooh no advice but I want to know this too!

I use Primark shape ware. They have all different styles, shorts, knickers, thongs, vests, slips etc. They have very good and between £4-£10

I have a really good one from Tu at Sainsburys. It's a slip though, I never get on very well with the shorts as they always seem to roll down.
