I rate it actually am a cynic. I preferred it to dermatica for a number of reasons. They've been helpful any time I've emailed asking for advice or not being happy with my 'prescription'. I didn't start on tretinoin until my third month but knew I would get it as they happily emailed me my 6 month 'plan' upon request so I could see the increase and proposed changes and I clocked it appearing from month 3 and going up in dose from there).
I find the amount dispensed perfect and the packaging very clever.
I wouldn't use any other products with active ingredients whilst on a treatment plan that contained them. Have a look at the FAQ's on their site perhaps OP, they explain all this and also suggested routines for cleansing and moisturising- when to, what type of things to use and in what order etc.
I have dry skin so do use moisturiser in conjunction to ward off side effects like drying which works well. I've suffered with horribly low self esteem for years relating to my skin so even though £20 a month is by no means cheap for me (someone out of work with long term illness) it has improved how I feel, so is worth it.
I've found them very responsive if you want a particular ingredient or treatment, email and ask about it. (eg the tretinoin that everyone wants, though the dose will start low so the skin can adjust).
My referral code is JOANNAC5X4C if anyone wants it. Ignore if not! You get your first and fifth month free with it ( you still pay p&p I believe) and I get £5 off my next month. I've never actually referred anyone so am not sure how it works but presumably you enter the code during checkout.
