I'm looking for a mid size black tote or large hobo bag but I've some very specific likes and dislikes so thought I'd turn to the gurus for some recommendations
Soft leather, not pebble leather, not too shiny and stiff
No branding or if not so minuscule you can't notice it. I'm not so fussed about a 'big' name in fact probably suffer from reverse snobbery!
Must have lining - ideally at least one pocket but its more that I really dislike the raw leather interiors
Minimal metal - I don't like zips, and studs and fuss
Thinking around 200-250 because I want something I'll use for years and a lot but not so expensive I don't feel like I can't throw it around
I have a Petit Parisian in tan which I love and ticks many boxes but its expensive for what it is even with the current sale and I don't love the look of it in black on the web site
For my work bag I have a pewter longchamp 3D which is excellent but too wide for what I have in mind.
I like the look of aspinal hobo even though hobo its got about the right level of slouch, but beyond what I'm looking to spend
I like this one from ATP Atelier ATP but not the strap, looks uncomfortable. Or this Cuyana but no lining
I guess my ask is any other brand suggestions I should look at? Thanks so much
