The Queen wore a lovely petrol blue ensemble for her trip north today. Her brooch of the day was the Queen Mother's (enormous!) diamond and ruby bouquet brooch.
There isn't a known history for this brooch, so it was probably commissioned by the QM, who usually wore it at evening events.
Her Maj usually wears it for high profile diplomatic occasions, or celebratory events, so she must have been enthusiastic about her visit to The Street today.

I think I spied Angela Kelly in the Royal retinue! (White coat and black pillbox hat?)

I loved Beatrice’s polka dot maternity dress at Wimbledon today 😍

Here's Beatrice and Edo in the royal box. I'm not keen on the dress, but I'm not a fan of big puff sleeves. She looks well, though. Edo looks sharp.

Zara and Mike don't sit in the royal box. She's favouring stripes at the moment!

Leti's at an art event today, all white ensemble. It looks quite futuristic, capes are definitely having a moment. I rather like the outfit, but not the shoes.

I think Zara looks good, although maybe the espadrilles would be better without the high lacing!

What would you put instead of the espadrilles? I much prefer them to the high courts so many wear.

Yes, I prefer espadrilles. My views on the ubiquitous sky high stilleto court shoes are well known on this thread

I love Leti's outfit!

I like Leticia's outfit - agree the beige shoes are not great. I think the dreaded white shoes would have been nicer. Not white stilettos though - a 60's style low heeled shoe would have been perfect.

Maireas I agree with you on the topic of high stilettos. I have strong feelings against pointy toe high stilettos too.

Beatrice's dress is lovely, and imo the exaggerated puffy sleeves are what makes it. They balance the frill at the bottom. The square neckline is reminiscent of her wedding dress.

Not keen on Zara's oversize navy/white stripes. Both dresses looked as if they were too big, imo, and the one with the stand up collar had too much going on with the collar and the sleeves and the stripes. The laced espadrilles make her legs look short.

That blue colour on HMQ looks lovely. The brooch is stunning.

I liked Leti's outfit, including the shoes ( not that I could wear them ).
As you know on this thread I hate espadrilles with laces/ribbon.
A simple wedge espadrille with no ribbon or strings is fine.

Leti's outfit would have look cooler with houndstooth shoes. I think she has some.

Bea's dress needs one embellishment taken away, and my choice is the shirring (is that the right word?) on the bodice.

I sort of like Zara's outfit. Looks relaxed and comfortable, anyway.

Queenie looks lovely in that colour.

I think HM looked great today (and yes, lovely to think she was just up the road, for me!). I really like the stronger colour lipsticks she's been wearing of late.

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Beatrice's dress. Apart from the puffed sleeves, it looked ill-fitting and uncomfortable.

I agree about Leti's shoes, and I dislike the white bag too. Given my loathing of white shoes, I can't back those as an alternative to the beige I'm afraid. I think maybe a darker colour might have been better.

I find Beatrice seems to aim for "fashion" but comes across like she's trying a bit too hard. This dress is no exception. There was too much going on and it looked uncomfortable.

Zara looked good and relaxed in her striped dress. Much better than she does on more formal occasions when she tends to look a bit trussed up.

Going against the tide here I actually prefer Beatrices dress to Zara’s stripes today.

If you are within striking distance, Buckingham Palace gardens are opening to the public tomorrow until the 19th September. You can take a picnic, view the two plane trees Victoria & Albert planted, wearing a tiara is optional.

I was very confused about Zara's outfits being different in the two photos above, but, me being clever, I've worked out they're from different days, if not years, seeing as the one Maireas shared has Nico Rosberg and his wife sitting in the same row as Mike and Zara.
