Strappy Dresses

I have just ordered this. I love the look of it. Just look at the tie back 😍 The thing is I’m well endowed and have to wear a bra (in public at least). What do other mumsnetters do with a strappy dress? It seems to me that there are two options; 1. A bra with very pretty bra straps on show 2. A strapless bra, but they look uncomfortable.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

I have heard really good things about the strapless wonderbra but haven't tried it myself yet.
I wear a multiway bra, with one strap as halter and one going underneath bust for extra support. Or I wear bras with pretty lace on the straps, though they're harder to find in my size. My favourite is harness style bras that look like they're supposed to be on show.

‘Pretty bra that looks as if it is supposed to show; too nice to hide. If your bra shows all it means is you have a bra on. So it’s just a case of making sure it’s a nice one.

I use strapless bra with different straps. I bought thin pretty straps in pink and white from eBay and it looks good with stappy dresses

Marks do them but you have to buy any of their multiway bras and then you can buy the plastic straps separately from them too, other retailers might do that as well

You don't need to buy a bra with transparent straps you can just buy the straps and use on your own bra. Tbh though I think strapless would be the best. You can always see the transparent straps and imo they can spoil the look of the dress straps.

In my very humble opinion, I think any kind of bra strap showing, whether it’s lacy, clear or otherwise, looks a bit naff. For that reason, I only wear this style of dress when I’m having a slim phase, which for me means my boobs are small and I don’t need to wear a bra at all.
