Think I might have a Hush problem...

I ordered my first item from Hush last week and it arrived today and it's gorgeous! It's a lovely, loose-fitting maxi dress. So I was inspired to order the joggers and a pair of shorts. I feel like I've been missing something and since a lot of my favourite retailers have gone bust this may fill the gap! So my question is what are the 'must buy's from Hush, and what other brands might I like?

I've just received the leopard print drawstring waist dress from John Lewis. It is jersey so I'm a tad nervous. To be honest the slightly rough material reminds me of the dresses I used to get from Camden Market in my youth.... It's a really lovely material but I don't 100 percent trust it won't misshapen.

Plus sides are that it is a very flattering and wearable dress, with pockets hurrah! If I was any good at sewing with stretch I think it would be a great design to try and copy.

I’ve got two pairs of Amie joggers. The black pair’s just started to look shabby after four years of hard wear. I’m replacing them in the autumn.

So excited to get the joggers tomorrow - I ordered them in green leopard print.

Update: my latest purchase. Also really happy with the joggers, shorts and dress. Going to stop now though!

I love Hush too. I wish they did a bit more dressy clothes though as I feel over the years they have got really casual. I have lots of the Kensington dresses, joggers, t shirts and shirts. I'm almost too thin for Hush though as everything is oversized. Just fit a size 6/8/xs and I'm usually a size 10 in other retailers.

Ah I wish I had that problem @jennyfromtheblock22 - size 14 here so I find the oversized stuff very flattering!

i like Hush too but find the materials a bit thin sometimes or don't last.

My harem pants from Hush have lasted years

I did an absolutely massive order a few months ago and kept a third of it.
2x Aime joggers
Collarless denim jacket
2x midi skirts
White midi dress
2 x t shirts
Straw bag (so good)
White blouse
Linen joggers
Black puff sleeve top.
I’ve added a few bits from other shops and now have so many outfits that suit my lifestyle.
I just need a black blouse or t shirt to make a few more outfits.

My favourite ever most amazing, world-beatingly comfortable pj bottoms are from Hush, 3 pairs bought 5-6 years ago. Never found any as good anywhere (and I am a pj connoisseur 😳). Sadly, the ones I got from Hush more recently are not as good, they've changed the elastication so that now they're the kind of thing you can get anywhere and aren't nearly as comfortable.

So I live in fear of wearing out my preciousssssessss.

I also rate their longline vests and tops (but again, bought at least a few years ago) for being nice, weighty cotton jersey.

But also have a pair of not-cheap joggers from Hush that are the flimsiest, knee-baggiest crap ever.

Definitely hit and miss.

Oh I have the joggers on today @LeonardLikesThisPost and I love them - soooo comfy and fit well (although I did size down). Haven't washed them yet so just hoping they don't fall to pieces.

@LeonardLikesThisPost Have you tried Cyberjammies. There PJs are gorgeous. I also got a couple of pairs of bottoms from Boden this year. They are so well made, soft and comfortable. This is my first year of being a PJ connoisseur 😀

My favourite ever dress is my Hush Kensington dress .. I get compliments whenever I wear it .. I have the green floral one and wish I'd got the red one too now

I think the quality is a bit hit and miss although personally I've never had a problem. I buy lots of their sweatshirts and T-shirt's and a few 'blouses' plus jeans every year. I've never ever had an issue with shrinking or holes appearing. I do follow washing directions scrupulously though! I got a dress today which I loved. I buy stuff when I see it these days, the sales are hit and miss

Luckily for my bank balance, Hush doesn't fit me. Their size 6s swamp me - wish they did petite sizing and stopped the vanity sizing.

I’ve just received the Wren Frill Maxi Dress . It is in the Sale and looks lovely in the picture. In reality it’s like a duster! V poor quality too. Should have been £89!!. Can’t believe the prices that are being charged for such tat.
The nicest thing about the whole package is the lovely yellow tissue paper it is wrapped in👎!!!

Anyone else liking way too much of the new collection? There’s at least three dresses I’m lusting after. And a jacket. And a couple of other things…

I literally live in Hush jersey and it washes just fine. I always put it on hand wash cycle of machine and shake and hang and no issues. Have several pairs of trackie bottoms, lots of t shirts and a couple of pairs of shorts and all firm favourites in my wardrobe.

Oh and 4 pairs of their pjs too - in fact I think my Hush addiction started with pjs

Definitely not a plant, I'm just a bit over excited at finding a new retailer! I used to buy lots of Oasis and Warehouse stuff and now that they're online only they've gone utterly rubbish
