Opinions on this dress please

It's for DD's wedding in October. Struggling to work out just how much ' 'MOB' to go.

I have found some very expensive and very formal MOB dresses which I like but as DH will refuse to wear anything formal I am looking for other ideas and wondered if this would be 'Special' enough.

Also what colour accessories would you put with it. The groom and family are wearing burgundy bow ties and blue suits. The bridesmaids are in dark grey.

@ChubbyLittleManInACampervan I do agree about the matching dress and coat combo's and I love your approach.

I don't think we will be outside much and also DD is hoping that most photos will be informal rather than pre planned family groups. I don't want a typical MOB bolero over a dress but I'm not very 'trendy' so looking for inspiration.

@Ikeameatballs I do love the Gina Bacconi dress you posted. Hopefully I will be able to try on a few more when I have my appointment.

The problem is I see things I love but they just don't suit me when I try them on.

No one suggested a bolero. There’s a difference between boho and looking chic. You posted quite a start dress that was matchy matchy with the groomsmen. You seem to have moved on to wanting something less pulled together. It’s very difficult to wear any outer garment over a boho long dress. But if it’s informal and no formal pictures wear anything you want.
