What did you wear on your feet if your dress was floor length with a train and you can't see your shoes?

I don't know weather to still wear a small heel or to just wear flats for comfort.

I got married in the autumn and all the wedding shoes had disappeared from the shops. Found a pair in a sale but they were a tiny bit small. My foot was bleeding by the end. Comfort Every Time!

I wore a heel to start as someone told me you walk better in them and I really do agree. Changed to trainers for the evening once they started to hurt.

I wore Doc Martens which were the same colour as the dresses my bridesmaids wore. I was so comfy all day.

I'm thinking a heel for the ceremony and then a change into comfortable shoes!

I had low heeled Carvelas I bought in the sale. They were half a size too big which I think was accidental genius! No sore feet and all shoes hurt my feet. If you notice lots of red carpet shoes are a bit too big

Thanks @gingercat02 sounds like a plan, did they not rub or slip?

I wore wedges from this place:

They aren't too glam but they genuinely are very comfortable occasion shoes. I had them as a bridesmaid before and had a great experience so I went back when it was my turn to choose. Thanks, SIL!!
