Plunge bra for massive boobs

Now the sun is out in wanting to wear dresses and sick of having bra on show in my low cut ones - can anyone recommend a decent lounge bra - non padded as they are big enough!

what size are you looking for, and are the necklines V or U shaped?

OrangeBlossom28 · 01/06/2021 14:54

Freya Erin is a nice non padded plunge but it's size dependent.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 01/06/2021 14:59

Also budget?

Redruby2020 · 01/06/2021 15:25

Hi, yes what size are you looking for though?
I am big busted and had some molded plunge bra's from Debenhams in the past.

BlibBlabBlob · 01/06/2021 16:08

Satine from Bravissimo is good. But as other posters have said, you need to give your back size and cup size for accurate suggestions.

Zebracat · 01/06/2021 17:03

I am a 38e . I have bought several plunge bras recently, trying to find one to work with a particular dress. None have worked. Annoyingly, they try on ok, but then out somehere I suddenly find myself falling out of the bottom or spilling out of the top. Really grim. I’m now looking for a half cup balconnet, as someone on here said that’s the right thing for big breasts. The worst was the Rosie from M&S although it is also very pretty , green silk and lace.

OrangeBlossom28 · 01/06/2021 17:53

@Zebracat Might be worth you checking your size as the issues you describe might be due to poor fitting

Zebracat · 01/06/2021 18:51

@OrangeBlossom28. I have checked my size. 38 e fits perfectly in most styles, just not plunge.Although if they need a different approach, smaller band or bigger cup, or vice versa,I would be willing to try on now changing rooms are open.

PacificState · 01/06/2021 18:59

I'd recommend going in to a Bravissimo if you've got one near you - they have always been really good on fitting for me and they have lots of different styles

Orf1abc · 01/06/2021 19:09

Panache Tango II Plunge.

The right size is key, if the back is too loose then the back won't stay in place. Most of your support should come from the band, not the straps.

Wizzbangfizz · 01/06/2021 19:34

Budget is no object - v neck square neck and scoop neck! Thrilled to see some replies and will read now!

Last time I was measured a 36H

Elomi are a dream. I'm 42HH & they do wonders for me.

KatharinaRosalie · 01/06/2021 19:53

V necks need a plunge indeed, but they might not work under lower U or square necks, I would recommend a half cup there.

Bravissimo Satine might work, and Panache Tango comes in this size. For half cups, Curvy Kate has some options that don't come up high.

randomkey123 · 01/06/2021 19:56

Another vote for Elomi, I've got around 20 of them! I'm a 40G and their plunge bras are miraculous - hold you in but you can still wear a low cut top in safety Grin The Matilda one is my fave, I think I've got it in every colour they do.

Wizzbangfizz · 01/06/2021 20:01

Never heard of Elomi off to google!

Justa47 · 01/06/2021 20:06

@Wizzbangfizz

Elomi and bravissimo

Look for Elomi on eBay for bargains

rosie39forever · 01/06/2021 20:10

Freya deco plunge is my go to bra, I'm a 34gg and it's just the right amount of uplift and coverage without making you feel like your boobs are under your chin.

justawoman · 01/06/2021 20:11

Freya deco or bravissimo satine for me

I can highly recommend this and I'm FF
SirVixofVixHall · 01/06/2021 20:48

Satine doesn’t fit me at all, my breasts don’t fit into the lower section of the cup as it it too flat there. So depending on your volume, and where you are most full, it may not suit you.
Ewa Michalak make the best plunges for larger cups, but you have to order from Poland .

Wizzbangfizz · 01/06/2021 21:08

Is the padding light on the satine? I will go into bravissimo Thursday I hope...

OP posts:
mumsiedarlingrevolta · 01/06/2021 21:41

@Wizzbangfizz go to Rigby and Peller and book an appointment to get measured.

So worth it!!!

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 01/06/2021 21:41

I don't think it's too bad. I don't like loads of padding anyway
