M&S Summer Beauty Bag 2021

I didn't realise this was out today until I was in M&S earlier. I picked one up but haven't really had a chance to look at it yet. Anybody else got one? What do you think?

(Apologies if there's already a thread, I did look but couldn't find it!)

I just ordered the beauty box. I bought a strapless bra for £25 & new knickers £8.

My sister wants me to give her Aveda as she uses that all the time anyway.

I tried to add one to my basket, I'd ordered £50 worth of clothing but the beauty bag didn't discount. I'm presuming it's because one of the item's in my basket was on sale, but I can't find any info saying the offer isn't valid with sale products. Does anybody know?
Perhaps ring them, it should work

I think the bag is great. I rarely try new products or splurge and it's a really nice way to try out some more treaty things.

I'd forgotten how nice the Nuxe oil smells. I bought the perfume once because I like the oil and it's nowhere near as nice

@ViaRia I think it's supposed to give a subtle sheen to tanned skin. I'm a redhead though.ni just like the smell.

Thanks for the reminder. I got this last year and have just put an order in for some tee shirts and a skirt! I really like M&S basic relaxed tees and needed some more anyway...

Mine arrived yesterday and I’m pleased with the contents. Last year I bought 3 Blush but it was cheaper and the spend target was lower too.

I put the nail polish on yesterday and it’s a nice colour. Mine was very gloopy and the brush is crap. Horrible stubby thing.

I think it’s been well thought out and I love the orange theme throughout.

ooh thanks for heads up, I had some stuff I needed from M&S anyway so that worked perfectly.

I recommend their CALM handwash / hand cream if anyone needs to top up their order, and they do a refill too.

The nail polish isn't for me but I'm enjoying the other products, the peppercorn perfume is really lush!

Not sure about the gold shimmer, might give it a test before my shower later.

Mine arrived yesterday and my daughter has nabbed the nail polish and the stuff for flat hair!
The rest of my £30 spend order arrived today and I am only keeping the socks. Anyone know what happens if you return the bulk of your order, do they charge you full price for the bag?

Thank you, you are correct. I have been searching for the terms and conditions and all the other beauty offers have ‘ Any refunds will take into account this discount’ but this is not recorded for the beauty bag. Panic over as I didn’t really want to keep the t-shirt that was viscose or the unsuitable jeans!

I love the beauty bags & and was sad as a sad thing that there wasn’t an advent calendar. I love the Aveda hair thing and the nail polish, just the thing for jaunty summer toes

Perfume is such a personal thing isn't it. I find the peppercorn perfume extremely sickly, but I like the spiced bergamot perfume better.

I was going to say that I use the oil on my hair. It's not something I'd buy but I've had it in boxes before and I occasionally use it on the ends of my hair.

Love the primer, made my skin feel soft and looked really glowy.
Eye cream feels nice, not sure it does much.
The nail varnish is a gorgeous colour and goes on well, put it on yesterday and it hasn't chipped yet which is quite an achievement for me.

Well I hope you are all proud of yourselves. I wasn't going to bother with this and then I read the posts and tried to buy it online - but the discount wouldn't work! Today I saw it in an M&S shop so got it 😅 I've had the nuxe oil before and just don't understand it - what do you do with it?

@Chrysanthemum5 as a long time lurker of style and beauty I did the same. Wasn’t going to bother then got it online last week. I have no idea what to do with the nuxe oil either so haven’t tried that yet.

The glow mask was a stickier consistency than I’d anticipated but it left my skin feeling nice. I liked the eye cream too. The leave in hair product by Aveda was a bit of a disappointment. I think it smells like vosene shampoo! It also hasn’t really had an effect but I’ll happily give it another go.
Looking forward to trying out the other bits.

I think you can use the Nuxe oil on your cheek bones / face or body to give a bit of a sheen or glow but I've only used it on my hair (ones I've had previously, not opened this one). It does say you can use on face, hair or body.

I've only used the eye cream and I like it but I've been using ultra sun spf cream which you are supposed to use before anything else so I feel like I can't use the eye cream with it.
