I bought some casual trousers during lockdown. They look OK. Allegedly reduced from 140 to 70
I wouldn't normally spend that much but as I wasn't spending I went for it
It it really a good brand ?

I ordered some trousers from there but when they arrived they looked and felt cheap. They fitted badly. I sent them back.

Other people on here seem to rate them though.

RosieRedPetal · 24/05/2021 08:55

Only seen their clothing online but looks to be stylish and good quality. I have looked very longingly at a few of their items. Do the trousers feel and look like good quality? Sound like a useful classic addition to any wardrobe.

justawoman · 24/05/2021 09:21

Generally they’ve had poor reviews on here if you do a search for previous threads

Squeejit · 24/05/2021 09:23

I’ve just had some trousers from there - they look nice on the model but they are nothing special on me. They remind me of old ladies’ slacks. I need to return them actually.

Sisisimone · 24/05/2021 09:24

I got a dress and a top on a flash sale last week. Both lovely and delivery upgraded to free next day as I was a new customer

WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld · 24/05/2021 18:04

These are the trousers. I see they have dropped the price now. They are ok and I suppose they are versatile but are just pull on trousers

I've got the Runway trousers which are very nice - decent thickish fabric, wash well etc and am awaiting an exchange of the Apartment pants which are cotton jersey but a lovely almost silky fabric. Had to send them back because fractionally too short. I'm happy with the service and the product.

lurkingfromhome · 24/05/2021 22:51

Their website has excellent photography and very good styling.

Once you actually get the clothes, hmmm, they're ok but not cheap for what they are and the quality isn't markedly better than something that costs half the money.

Lampan · 24/05/2021 23:28

I only know of them in the context of another thread on here, which is worth a read. General consensus was to avoid. I don’t know how to find an old thread but there definitely is one somewhere.

I have these and paid 60 Pounds for them in April so no idea why they are advertising them as that . I love them - they are a great alternative to wearing black jeans ....don't understand that pricing . I just checked price on my statement.
MostIneptThatEverStepped · 25/05/2021 00:38

I have the Camden pants snd find them very flattering. I have worn them loads. I also recently bought the sleeveless Greenwich dress in orange (haven't had the weather to wear it yet though!)

Espirito · 25/05/2021 02:05

Joggers for a fiver from Primark are better value and quality for similar style. The customer service is also shocking. Take forever to refund, try to pretend they have free returns (they don't) and yes, they say they're upgrading you to express delivery but it'll still take a week to arrive. Worst experience with an online clothes retailer I've ever had.

Much as I would love to believe this it simply isn't true . 😂
Espirito · 26/05/2021 01:02

What makes you think that?

VenusClapTrap · 26/05/2021 08:33

I agree with ‘take forever to refund’. I heard nothing for weeks and it was only when I chased that they said oh yeah we’ll refund you now. I got the impression that if I hadn’t chased I’d still be waiting.

bunnybutts · 26/05/2021 08:44

I've got the Finsbury pants. They're ok. I don't think they're worth the money as the material feels a bit cheap. They're also not machine washable!!

However I have ordered many many other pairs of he same kind of pull on trousers and these are the best I have found. I do wear them a lot.

£60 is the normal price though.

MrsMaizel · 26/05/2021 11:57

I have seen both
adrianmolesmole · 26/05/2021 13:40

Does anyone know what's the difference between some of the pants, they look all very similar? I have the runway pant and although I like it it's a bit wide (flared) on the leg to me. Is the Apartment pant more tapered?

Espirito · 26/05/2021 14:36

Your standards are a lot lower than mine then MrsMaizel. I don't want either, but a fiver represents way better value for money than some randomly fluctuating price between £58 and £140 for what are essentially elasticated waist unstructured jersey pull on pants.

Sisisimone · 26/05/2021 15:05

Nope. Far better to spend a bit more on good quality garments that fit well and will last than to buy cheap shit over and over that end up in landfill

bunnybutts · 26/05/2021 15:26

They're just not that good quality though!! Way way overpriced.

How can you say that ? Are you super blessed with amazing powers that see into my wardrobe and mind ? 😂😂😂 There is no way on God's earth that a fiver will buy you the same quality but we will have to agree to differ . Just stick with Primark !

I have the runway ones and use them for work. I absolutely love them. The shape is flattering and they're so comfy but don't look like they're better suited to lounging at home. I haven't found any equally comfy/smart trousers for less. It helps that they have different leg lengths as I'm 5ft2 and don't like heels.
