My daughter v self conscious about v flat chest. She isn't slim and willowy so can't embrace that look.
Im trying to find 36aa bra thst would make her feel better with a tiny bit of padding.
Tried so many bras but none fit right.
She has 1 calvin klein bra that fits nice.

Anyone else this size? I'll pay whatever to make her happy!

Some women have barely any breast tissue at all - literally flat chested with basically just nipples

I always used to measure AA, and the bigger band sizes make sense for my build. But it did seem utterly ridiculous to be measured at "37 AA" and directed to the teen ranges when I was looking, toddler in tow, for my first new bras after stopping breastfeeding the first time ...

With my own daughter I've stuck to the principle of go down a band size and up a cup size, and checking up or down a cup size, to help her find a good fit. Seems to have worked.

I'm an A cup (and definitely believe its possible for yourdd to be an AA)...although I'm not a fan of their clothes, I have had a lot of luck of with Next padded bras and you can some really pretty ones there.

Never heard of Little Women before but thrilled to learn about it and off to have a nose...

Max Cleavage are especially for small breasted women who want padded bras and they are very well made

M&S ought to be banned from measuring bra size. They’d put me in a 34AA. I’m a 28D 🙄

MilduraS · 24/05/2021 11:28

@QueenPaw I was a definite AA. The bra didn't ride up because the band is fitted tightly enough to stay in place and not move up or down. For more well endowed ladies, it's where most of the support is and with a properly fitted bra, their bras don't ride down.

I’d take to a large branch of John Lewis if you have one near you. I found their fitters very good with teen DD and me and they have a large range of attractive bras, some more expensive than M&S but some in the same price range.

Imo boob or bust is useless for smaller chests.

I wear a 34A. They recommended a 28C. It was so tight I could barely get it closed, with huge gaping empty cups. 34A fits perfectly.

I'm also a size 6 (can easily fit into any top that's a size 6) yet if I measure my chest with a tape measure, underbust is 31/32 inches and overbust is 32/33 inches.

AA cup means less than 1 inch between under and over bust measurements
I don't know why so many pp have said this. Plenty of women have only an inch difference between underbust and overbust.

DontLookEthel · 19/06/2021 16:56

I'm thin with a big rib cage. A 36AA feels uncomfortable underbust so I'm braless most of the time and embrace the freedom, especially in hot weather Smile.

If I need a bit of shape for a special occasion I wear Uniqulo camisole tops, the cups are half empty but the outline looks OK under clothes. Cant wait to take it off at first opportunity though.

Surely if you’re 31/32 under bust then boob or bust would recommend that as your back size, not 28? Boob or bust don’t take numbers away from your actual measurement
lindyloo57 · 19/06/2021 18:11

you can be a AA i used to be a 32/ AA had hardly any breast tissue at all.

ohforarainyday · 19/06/2021 18:56

Boob or Bust won't accept my measurements at all, because it simply refuses to accept that some women have the exact same standing measurement as leaning measurement.

When I enter my measurements it just says "error."

Thekormachameleon · 19/06/2021 19:15

No ones first port of call for measuring should be M&S they are shocking

For example, they measured me as a 42F

I'm a 36J - a huge difference

Use the boob or bust method, I'd put my house on your daughter not being a 36A

lindyloo57 · 19/06/2021 19:33

I agree about M&S being rubbish at fitting, when I work as a bra fitter back in 2001 we used to get lots of women come from there who had badly fitting bras.
