We came back yesterday teatime because the heavens opened and we all decided that we didn't want to be stuck inside the van all night struggling to cook while it was pouring down. Had a lovely time Friday and all day Saturday though everyone was happy to get back to dry land!

I love your skirt @Sooverthemill. Fingers crossed the weather is warm enough for you to wear it a bit more frequently. It was sunny when I got up, but has already clouded over. I’m actually quite glad we have rain forecast this evening - less likelihood for trouble after the match (there will inevitably be large numbers of winning fans and losing fans here www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-57766967).

I also love that skirt @Sooverthemill. Hope this week is better for you @Justonedayatatime11. I'm not feeling well today so am in jersey trousers from H&M and a boat neck t shirt with no label. On Friday we visited my mum in Glasgow (warm but overcast). This weirdfish dress was very cool and comfortable. I wish it was just a little longer to cover my awful legs. Denim jacket oasis.

Thanks @EllaPaella Currently stood in a queue in Legoland it's been good weather not to hot so we boil not to cold that water rides are horrible.

Going through jeans today as it’s going to rain all day. Opinions please on these. I like the shape but not so keen on the pockets. Tried with three shape tops. Be brutal! I’ve ended up in the black fitted one but I value your thoughts.

@Sooverthemill I have seen you in nicer. I am not sure about the length or how they are at the top of the legs.

I am wearing a pair of your hush cast offs today :) just slouchy clothes as not feeling well, horrendous cramps.

@Sooverthemill - I like them with the black top and the pink top, but not with the gingham top.

I’m back in tights today. In July. very glad I wore them as I’m in the office and the aircon is arctic!

@Sooverthemill I don't ever really like this pockets on light colored jeans they add an extra dimension to the proportions. I think a less bulky leg suits you so the slimmer straight legs you often wear or a tapered leg. I think but could be wrong that a wider leg needs to be higher waisted so it doesn't shorten your legs.

They aren't hideous by any stretch of the imagination just not perfect!

Blouse was a hand me down with no labels although is silk and washes well so would love to know where from.

Thank you all! I love the wide leg and ten airiness off them. Don't like the pockets. They are actually really high waisted, they reach the bottom of my ribs, must be the angle of the photo! I've now ordered 3 pairs of wide leg ones to try

@Sooverthemill they are okay but not Wow.. I felt the same about the wide leg jeans I have tried. You have so many other lovely pairs and styles of jeans that look really good, the wide legs look fine if you do decide to keep but they aren't as nice as your others.

Ahh okay @Sooverthemill ignore my not helpful advice then I can kind of see that the angle is distorting them, taking selfies are always hard I know I look different depending on the angle I tilt the camera.

Haha so verdict is to get rid of these! I felt very 70s in them . I will try the others when they arrive but I'm really good at sending stuff back. @Sickoffamilydrama I had tried those Boden ones actually and didn't keep.

Cropped wide leg today. I like these though they are a bit big now. I think what I liked about the ones yesterday was the length. Must look out for full length ones. I’ve been lusting after a pair of Agolde 90s loose pinch waist. But £240
Funnily enough DH who rarely comments on clothes liked my outfit yesterday but he’s a 70s teenager
