August bank hol wedding. Posh place with new man Grin I'm aiming for girly rather than sexy as is his family wedding.

I'm size 4/6, petite, 5'2. Blonde, green eyes. I'm really slight, so can carry a small pattern, but nothing to frilly/puffed etc.

No idea where to start looking. Can you please help me. Everything looks either too bridesmaid, is too long for my height, or a bit over the top.

Thanks x

Oooh these are nice and the sizing looks good with xxs too. Thank you! I'd never have thought to look at MK.

Have you considered Self Portrait? Most are slightly above the £250 mark, but they are stunning dresses. Selfridges have a good selection as well. Not sure why colour you're looking for but they have loads of styles and colour options.

I’m a similar size to you, maybe a tad larger 6/8 but have ordered this dress for weddings this year, it feels great on.

@WineGetsMeThroughIt those dresses are gorgeous. I'm actually debating buying the last one just because I love it so much. Thank you.

just a tip that Self Portrait is available to rent through Selfridges now

This designer does some beautiful dresses. She designs the prints herself too.

I have a few pieces and they are gorgeous. She will alter length etc as most pieces are made to order

I think the pink Ted Baker is the nicest so far on this thread.
Whatever you buy be sure it fits properly or you will fiddle with it and that doesn't look good.
Go with a colour and style that suit you rather than just because you like the dress.

Preferably get a brutally honest friend to give you her opinion.
