Last week Lookeiro disaster. This week I await stitch fix

You may remember me from beige / white jumble sale / per Una '93 / charity shop bargain bin outfits sent by Lookeiro. I forgot to cancel the Stitch fix I had planned before Lookeiro. Would we be interested in those clothes when they arrive?
Again I must stress my reason for buying one is to try and find some nice pieces I wouldn't choose myself and get a few new summer items.

Yes I’d be interested having a gander.

Miseryisabutterfly · 03/05/2021 18:56

Oh gosh op, I hope you have better luck this time. This has tickled me though as I remember a pp predicting this 😂

SpeckledyHen · 03/05/2021 19:06

It can’t be any worse can it ?!

polkadotpjs · 03/05/2021 19:09

I know! A PP on the other thread did say we should have a thread of people trying stuff from there though so...if people want to see me in ...ooh wonder what'll be this week.
I think peach coloured leggings with maybe a brown crop top?

Can’t wait to see!

PatchworkElmer · 03/05/2021 19:11

Definitely interested OP!

boozynamechange · 03/05/2021 19:12

I kept my whole Stitchfix box, so fingers crossed it's okay for you too.

nicelyneurotic · 03/05/2021 19:55

Ooh I'm interested too. I sent back my entire Lookiero. It was so boring - plain white top, plain black top, black dress that looked like a sack. I specifically asked for no black.

polkadotpjs · 03/05/2021 20:59

I'm intrigued as I have kept the odd thing from Stitch fix including a khaki drawstring waist dress that I've worn a lot and some jeans. I'll await with interest as the post arrives tomorrow

SpeckledyHen · 05/05/2021 19:24

Has it arrived yet OP?

WinterStrange · 05/05/2021 19:34

I'd like to see please! I remember your previous thread and thought you looked great in your own clothes, but what they'd sent you was horrid.

ViciousJackdaw · 05/05/2021 20:42

I've got to say OP, you're a bloody good sport! Yes, I would love to see the next instalment!

Whysolong7 · 05/05/2021 20:45

This is very interesting- sent back all of my last text lookiero for similar reasons - they started off so strong.

Would be interested to see Stitch Fix I had one box from there and cancelled it was just a bundle of cheap looking river island stuff.

HoldontoOneMoreDay · 05/05/2021 20:54

I am here for this! Also want to say that I got four things from Hush today and they all fit and look really nice which hasn't happened in a very long time. So maybe my luck will rub off on you.

GrannyRoberts · 06/05/2021 21:11

@polkadotpjs has it arrived yet?

polkadotpjs · 08/05/2021 14:21

It's here! I got a jumpsuit , dress, denim jacket, hooded jumper in jersey and some cropped chinos
Let me know what you think. Mixed bag from my side and only thinking of keeping one thing but I'm open to honest judgement. DH cringed at all but one. Oh. Can only do 3 pics. Will send rest tomorrow

Really like the denim jacket.

M0rT · 08/05/2021 14:32

Like the denim jacket, dress would work for the summer if you will wear it?
No to the jumper.
I have a lot of dresses because I like outfits that are only one thing and I find dresses very comfortable especially in the summer.
But some of them rarely get worn because they have fiddly buttons or need ironing etc.
So if that is a light cotton that will need ironing every time it's washed, will you iron it?

Srirachachacha · 08/05/2021 14:35

I like the dress and denim jacket Smile

WinterStrange · 08/05/2021 14:39

The denim jacket is fine, but only if you actually will wear it. I got one in a Lookiero box a while ago, kept it and then never wore it. There's a reason I didn't already have one iyswim.

Miseryisabutterfly · 08/05/2021 14:40

Everything looks good on you but I think you could do better! I’d keep the denim jacket and return the others. So much better than Lookiero though!

FindingMeno · 08/05/2021 14:41

I like the denim jacket but that's all I'm afraid.

WinterStrange · 08/05/2021 14:44

I also feel as if you could probably do better yourself. This lot looks ok, but by far my favourite of your pics has been the one of you in your own clothes. I'm not really sure these things are with the styling fee / inconvenience, but maybe just me.

Honeywort · 08/05/2021 14:45

The denim jacket is nice but I’d have thought that was sort of thing that - if it’s your style - you’d already have. I th8nk of a denim jacket as a fairly basic/classic item . For this sort of service to be useful to me, I’d need it to be suggesting things 8 wouldn’t have thought of.

WinterStrange · 08/05/2021 14:51

Worth the styling fee*

And yy to the pp; I found exactly that - I didn't have a denim jacket in my closet, so when I got one in a box and it looked nice on, I kept it. Then I remembered, denim jackets aren't my style and don't go with the rest of my wardrobe! Had to donate it in the end, after hanging on to it for ages, trying it on with thing and then never wearing it.

I think it's because I don't find they provide enough warmth. If I'm wearing a extra layer, it needs to keep me warm!

Sorry, bit of a derail there, sort of, but maybe helpful for op if she is anything like me.
