SLS & paraben free dandruff shampoo HELP!

Can anyone recommend a shampoo that is SLS & paraben free and actually works on dandruff? I’m desperate and very itchy.

Over the last year I have tried:
Noughty shampoo the caretaker
Faith in nature lemon & tea tree
Eclat anti dandruff

They all initially worked well but, after repeat purchases, by bottle 3/4 they suddenly stop working. I now have a collection of half used bottles. I have gone back to retry each one and find I flare up and flake even more than before! I’m on the verge of going back to nizorel in desperation.

Cost is an issue, I’d rather not have to pay more than £10 if possible.
Can anyone help?

@QueenPaw queen by name queen by nature! Not one stone left uncovered Grin you did well my girl, well done, couldn't have done better myself .

@TeaAddict235 the cashier was HmmHmm then hit the total button and it said £294. Then hit it again to discount and it went to £30 and she was Shock
I did briefly contemplate asking if they had any more stock Blush

Blimey @QueenPaw that was a bargain!

@PaleGreenGhost what do you use if you don’t use shampoo? I have tried coconut oil on the very itchy bits, you def need shampoo to get it off. After all the £££’s I’ve spent on shampoo it would be unreal if ACV worked Grin

@Fixitup2 I think I might just have to continue using the nizorel occasionally to keep it under control. I’ve googled neal & wolf but can’t see a dandruff one.

Can’t wait for my new shampoo to arrive today, I’m itchy already 😣

There isn’t a dandruff one but I’ve found with the neal and wolf I don’t need a dandruff one after years of needing dandruff shampoo.

Have you checked Lavera and Weleda yet ?

Silverstreaks · 05/05/2021 08:10

I'm with @PaleGreenGhost on the ACV if my scalp flares after using something dodgy.
I'm SLS and silicone free but also found out about itchy Ms which definitely cause a problem for me.
Currently I'm having success just with FiN and the L'Oréal Food conditioners.

Lavera & Weleda now added to my list to check out.

I see Fixit- thanks for clarifying.

I have never heard about itchy M’s I do still use FIN conditioner even though their dandruff shampoo stopped working for me.

I feel like I need a chemistry degree to be able to read and understand all the ingredients in shampoo Confused
