Please can you help me find specific dress

Just before Christmas 2019 I was in John Lewis with a friend and her baby who was having his witching hour so we had to leave. Just before we did I had clicked the most amazing dress.

It was a deep night time blue, full length with tiny gold stars and made me think of the Byron poem about the girl who walks in beauty like the night. It was the most wow dress I have seen.

I have no idea of the brand, but it has stayed in my head this long. I think it has a plunging neckline.

Anyone have any ideas?

I probably won't be able to afford it even if I do find it, but I'd like to know as it's playing on my mind.

It's probably not going to be on sale still, is it?

Was it all over printed stars or scattered. Full skirt or fitted. Sleeves?

It wasn't that one @FrogsSpawnofSanta but I like it a lot.

If I remember bright it was sleeveless with scatter stars almost like spots of gold

I might have to get the silk Fred one when I get paid. I remember vaguely thinking the other would be too expensive because it was so stunning.

i have one that sounds a bit like that although i would not describe the gold stars as tiny. More the size of my thumb nail. It always gets compliments when i wear it (well, it used to when I had places to wear it and people to compliment it). I think i got it in Autumn 2019. It is from Hush. They do not have it currently but quite often have items with stars so worth a look. Check John Lewis website as well as Hush itself as i think they have the odd item which is exclusive to John Lewis.

What branch of JL were you in? If you could tell us where about on the floor you saw it, it may help work out the brand. The shops tend to keep the brands in the same areas in the same stores.

Ah the Gina Macconi is gorgeous. Not the one I fell in love with but gorgeous nevertheless and has a similar magic/majesty.

It was the Leith Street John Lewis just before the TramWorks wrecked everything.
