Please can you help me find specific dress

Just before Christmas 2019 I was in John Lewis with a friend and her baby who was having his witching hour so we had to leave. Just before we did I had clicked the most amazing dress.

It was a deep night time blue, full length with tiny gold stars and made me think of the Byron poem about the girl who walks in beauty like the night. It was the most wow dress I have seen.

I have no idea of the brand, but it has stayed in my head this long. I think it has a plunging neckline.

Anyone have any ideas?

I probably won't be able to afford it even if I do find it, but I'd like to know as it's playing on my mind.

I really don't believe in light/dark for weddings anyway. The bride just wants everyone to look their happiest in clothes they feel beautiful in.

I keep thinking maybe I got it wrong and is was gold splotches not stars as the Whistles one is so similar, the main thing that confuses me is the peplum-y bit.

It might have been from the Somerset by temperley range. I think they had some star embroidered floaty dresses around that time(although I can’t seem to find any online or on eBay). Seems to be their kind of vibe by the description

Thank you. I feel like it might have been the Whistles one and I remembered the gold splodges (ugly word for something so beautiful) as stars but still not a hundred percent. My memory still says stars. But memory is strange

Chic wish not dodgy Chinese site like Shein. I’ve had lovely things from there and am definitely buying that star dress - one of the “real life reviews” is basically my height/weight/size so it is written in the stars ⭐️ 😀
