So I’m looking for some new clothes, and trying to get out of a style rut.. I’ve had some luck with my cooking rut with things like HelloFresh, so wondered if the above would do the same for my style?! Has anyone used either, and would you rate them or not? Online reviews aren’t really helping as they go both ways. I’m 5’3” and a size 6/8, 37 years old and a wheelchair user. (If any of that sways your answers 😂)
And if they’re a big fat nope, can you suggest some shops or websites to try. Thanks!

Just had a really good box from Lookiero where I kept everything. Had to give them some brutal feedback about not listening to me. I do think because I'm size 18 there might be less to choose from.

Thought I'd share with you what I liked:

Love the Mary Berry bomber jacket!
Need to slim into the stretch cropped boot jeans (they fit but tight)
Pleased with cotton dress that I will wear with jeans.
White shirt isn't inspiring but will look crisp with jeans and I might pair with a bright blazer.

I hate my arms so won't be wearing the green top. Happy to post to someone if they want to pay for postage. If you message me happy to sort that out with someone.

If you want to try Lookiero lookiero.co.uk/user/referrals-landing?code=LKRAFF0EYXYC&mgm=c

Not done a stitch fix in a while. The last box was pretty expensive. Will post up what I kept though.

I've tried both in the past and didn't LOVE the process. But of the two, I preferred Lookiero. They were a bit annoying as they didn't listen to everything I said, but they did send me really useful pieces, two of which I'm wearing now! Also their stuff has more natural fibres and recognisable brands ime.

Stitch Fix I found listened a bit more and took more information while booking, but their clothes were crappy imo. A lot of their "exclusive brands" which were all pretty low quality tbh. I kept a shirt dress from their, by Editors Cut and it is the only dress I've ever seen which literally disintegrated after a few washes! It ended up going to textile recycling after a few months of light wear.

Completely agree with the quality of the editor's cut brand! Initially I was thrilled with it - nice design, felt soft but bobbly and misshapen after a wash like the £20 Zara jumpers (but I paid £40 for it!)

Mind you, just requested a stitch fix box for an entire funeral outfit (has to have specific colours) so let's see how it goes! I don't have the ability to put together stylish outfits.

I signed up for Stitchfix and got my first box 2 months ago. Another is due next week. I wanted a bit of a shake up in my wardrobe but I admit I am hard to please.

Despite me saying no blue - I hate blue. It doesn't suit me, I was sent a blue top. They also sent two pairs of (slightly different) black joggers, very much not my style. I kept a bat wing rust coloured sweater which was "OK". So far not impressed.

If this one is as bad I'll take a look at Lookiero

Actually not a bad fix but I was super critical about what I wanted to keep because unless I love it, I'm not paying more than I need to.

They have given me a code for the next 48hrs with £25 off your first order www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/ryc58fh7yx?pbid=13252315&sod=w&som=c

Mine wasn't bad this time either but I'm not keeping any of it. I would have kept the cream denim jacket that I actually loved but it was just a fraction small despite being 2 sizes larger than I usually wear(!). They didn't have the next size up. I will now look for something similar elsewhere.

I also loved one of the skirts but at £90 for a very simple skirt ( unlined, elasticated gathered waist and side slit) it was very overpriced. I've found it online for under £40 (including postage) so I'll buy it there.

I would have kept the Mango trousers, good price and long enough but not a good cut for me being too tight on the hips and too big around the waist (a very common problem for me).

I've now cancelled any further fixes and will try Lookiero
