Please tell me your best white trainer purchases! Ideally to wear with midi and maxi skirts but comfy enough to walk a distance.

I always admire the effortless way some of the women I have seen, walking around the streets of London in their white trainers and floaty dresses.

I am due to go to London (hopefully) in August and need a great pair of trainers that ideally are stylish and super comfy from the get go!

I would possibly need to add an insole depending on the trainer, as I’ve just had issues dealing with plantar fasciitis! Really don’t want to be putting up with that nonsense while trying to cram as much of London as I possibly can!

So, please tell me your go to trainers, the ones you know won’t let you down but that you feel good in too!

I do have a great lived in pair of Converse but fancy a change and really want to invest in a great pair of trainers that are going to stand the test of time!

Another vote for Puma Carinas. I walk at least 8 miles every day and they are very comfy for me. My feet are narrow though.

I really like Fitflop trainers. You can walk for ages in them. They look nice enough to me too.

@wewantamackerelnotasprat yes I would say so, I have feet on the wider side and they did pinch the first few times I wore them but they are so comfy now!

I find my veja’s the most comfortable shoe of that style. I wear mine all day teaching primary aged children and for a long walk in the evenings. They’re quite wide & as they’re leather they’re breathable.

Van's are so comfortable and supportive. I can't wear anything else. Black in Autumn and White in Spring and Summer.. Love them..

I recently bought a pair of these. I used to recoil at sketchers because SO ugly but these are actually ok and comfortable (PF sufferer here 👋).

I have a pair of Stan Smiths, which are great - very good for art galleries when I always get very tired feet. To ring the changes I also have these

I ended up with many pairs of white trainers after a shopping spree last week. Most have gone back but I kept a lovely pair of white adidas ones which I got from TK Maxx. They had loads of makes and styles. I also have some trusty Primark ones but I'd say Adidas is the way to go for comfort.

I have white canvas Supergas which i wore throughout summer last year so some very loooooong walking dates and they were perfect. I would literally wear them all the time now but its too cold for skirts and no tights for me personally.

I love my Air Force Ones and Gazelles (for casual, only wear Asics for running), but now I want some Stan Smiths too, curses upon you all
