If these were your eyebrows what would you do with them?

They aren't very "there" and Dd takes the piss. I don't like heavy make up and prefer to accentuate things rather than make them obviously fake and like slugs. This is their completely natural state. I have honey blonde hair with lots of red tints and pink toned skin.

If these were your eyebrows what would you do with them?

@confusedandshaken wow yours look amazing. I'm seriously considering getting mine done as I'm hopeless at pencilling my remaining 2strands of eyebrow hair in!!! Can I ask with microblading does it end up all red and crusty at first and looks a mess and then suddenly looks ok?

I use the Sleek micro fine pencil and it's the best I've ever used. Good for thin eyebrows and looks natural. Stays on without smudging too.

It did look a bit patchy and crusty for the first few days but I just brushed my fringe down and hoped for the best! If anyone noticed they were too polite to comment.

The worst thing about having it done is having to sleep on your back for 2 weeks. I'm a natural side sleeper and find that difficult. You also have to keep them dry which is a challenge with hair washing.

I'm having them topped up next month (covid restrictions allowing). I will wash and blow dry the night before and socialise for a couple of days after that when my hair is still fresh and they won't have scabbed over. Then stay indoors for a few days when the scabbing peaks and my hair is dirty - only to emerge like a butterfly out of a chrysalis at the end of the fortnight!

Your eyebrows are a beautiful shape. Tell your dd to fuck off.
For cheapness, rimmel professional eyebrow pencil is hard to beat.
If you are not averse to spending more and can tolerate pain, microblading is brilliant. But do your research and ideally go for a personal recommendation.

I’m pale and always felt I needed to use a soft pencil on my brows. I had microblading with PhiBrows and it’s so lovely and natural. Nothing like the “slugs” you see on social media. Each strand is drawn separately

I'm not a fan of microblading. Like Veneers, I've never seen a good set yet.

anastasia beverly hills dipbrow pomade in the colour taupe. All you need is a tiny amount and apply it with an eyebrow brush, then blend it with the mascara wand bit, the entire tub lasts me nearly 2 years, and it looks natural.

Check YouTube out for videos on it.

People often say this about fillers/veneers/Botox and tweaks in general.. I think the truth is that when you see them done well you don't notice them. The ones you notice probably weren't very good.

I once had a conversation with my mum where she was being very vocal about her dislike of Botox and how everyone who has it looks frozen and plastic and they are fooling no one. When she eventually paused for breath I told her that I'd been having it for some years. She wouldn't believe me at first probably because it meant admitting she'd been talking rubbish!

Oblomov21 · 03/04/2021 18:59

My aunt is a dentist, I've never seen good veneers.
Go on then confused. I'm open to persuasion. Show me good microblading. Do you have a picture? Which pictures do you think are good?

They look fine as they are but if you want more definition you could try Eyelure eyebrow dye. Really easy to do and means you don't have to worry about applying make up every day like you do with pencil. Literally takes 10 mins every 6 weeks. I wouldn't go too dark though.
