Denim Jackets - any age?

I've finally found a denim jacket I like after years of searching. Now having a wobble that I'm too old to wear it.

One of my regrets is that I have no fashion sense at all, no idea of the dos and donts or what suits me.

One of my friends who is 75 wears one and she looks great.
I stick by the following rules:
Do you like it?
Does it fit you?
Can you afford to buy it?
If yes then go ahead.

Yes, you probably are.

I'm clueless too but I wear one. You don't want to look like me.

Of course you are not too old.

Wear clothes that make you feel confident, and that suit your lifestyle.

When you get dressed, look in a full length mirror, check you are happy with the overall look, make sure that nothing bugs you (too tight/too loose/too short/no pockets) put a smile on your face and a spring in your step and get out there.

I saw my 69 year old Mum yesterday and she was wearing a really lovely denim jacket. She looked great!

Seriously though. You can wear a denim jacket at any age.

Unless you're a man and it's a light stonewash jacket worn with light stonewash jeans. Not even Justin T.lake could pull off that look.

I’m 67 and love a denim jacket, they’re a classic. Same as a leather biker.

Nobody is too old to wear a denim jacket.

At 43 I’ve got a light blue one, a dark blue one and a pink one - each goes with different stuff! As long as you go for something fairly classic style-wise you really can’t go wrong.

I have this , it's quite straight , more shirt like (Bum Covering ) and not a bomber type which wouldn't flatter me .

I look bloody lush in it and I'm nearly 55

I'm 58, I have a vintage levi, a cropped abercrombie and fitch, a trucker style one in snake print, and one with a day of the dead skull patch on the back, you would have to prise from from my cold dead hands , I love them!

I got one for my birthday last year. I was 56.
