One other thing. China.

For a while now I have been consciously avoiding ordering clothes 'made in China', wherever it's possible to discern the origin of an item. (Only mentioning them because I've bought a lot there for other people over several years, but it's one of the reasons I stopped recommending much from Toast.) I looked for this info on the Uniqlo site and saw nothing. Once the shirt arrived - the label says made in China.

This article - and a few similar ones all over the Internet - appears to indicate that Uniqlo would prefer to be on the right side of history and is acting accordingly:

As a former lawyer it's rare for me to feel I'm not properly on top of the available information on any given subject. (I don't mean the political news, but specifically the position of clothing firms.) All expertise welcome.
