I've placed my first Stitch Fix order!

Been thinking of trying this for a while, as I've felt in need of some style inspiration.
My parcel is due for delivery on 3rd April, but I think I get to know what's in it before that: I've said that I'd like a Spring dress for upcoming pub lunches.
Excited now.

I thought I’d give stitch fix a try too because I’m a bit bored and the shops are closed. They sent a preview last week and I rejected everything as it’s not what I liked at all. I’ve heard nothing since except they are sending out a box on the 3rd. Am unsure if I get a chance to preview the next lot or is that it ?

Fallsballs, I'm expecting my first box on 3rd April: I rejected a few things in the preview, a few days ago, and I've heard nothing since, so I think that was it, and I won't know what the stylist has chosen as replacement items until the parcel arrives.

@Fallsballs wish they'd explained that if I rejected the items I'd get a box of unseen replacement items. Mine is coming on 3 April too, we can share our reactions together:)

Jeez @bonfireheart and @bellabride I thought they’d keep doing previews until I liked one !
This will be fun and I’ll report back. I have set the bar low but hope to be surprised 🙄😀

When you do the preview they give you the chance to feed back on what you didn't like and why and then ask for anything more specific to be considered for the upcoming box, but no they don't give you another preview. Mine is due on the 8th 🤞

My stitch fix box arrived today ... size 16-18 and everything is just fab! Specially the jeans, work trousers and a black jumper. Loved their collection

I liked the basics that Stitchfix sent but never found any wow pieces and I can shop for basics myself.

Certainly was useful to highlight what I definitely don't want though- polyester and flouncy, fussy details. Had the same experience with lookiero too after hoping they may be better.

My first box is also due on 3rd! I'll jump back on here to give an update.

@cismyfatarse I'm waiting on my first box but the only catch seems to be that if you don't like anything and you send it all back, you've lost a tenner.

I don't think there are actual stylists. I assume it's an algorithm.

I've had 6 or 7 boxes now I think. First was good. Second was OK. And the remainder I have kept one thing out of the whole lot. It just keeps being unflattering stuff from places I've never heard of. I'm probably not going to bother again because of how many £10 I've wasted.

I really liked the idea because I hate going shopping for longer than half an hour and it gets me trying stuff I wouldn't necessarily do.

My first box has arrived and I'm surprised, I love it all! I just can't afford to keep the entire box.

Does anyone know when referral credit is applied? I've got credit pending as someone used my referral link and ordered a box, but the £15 isn't showing up yet.

My box is here too and surprised at how nice the stuff seems :) there's a skirt that looks particularly lovely :) Once I've had a shower, I'll try them all on!

Does anyone know if the £10 is also deducted if you keep items?

Thanks @bonfireheart I'll see if they will add it, it's been pending a few weeks. While I really like everything in the box the only thing that's really wowed me is a dress. I'll be keeping that for sure!

Yes it is deducted from whatever you keep.

I got my box and I could see where the stylist was heading but there were 3 polka dot items 😮 and 2 plain t shirts. I said I wanted jeans but I got a (polka dot) skirt and a (polka dot) linen jumpsuit.
I’m unsure whether to give it another try or cut my loses now. Nice quality of the stuff even though I didn’t like it.

In my box, I got:
A pretty maxi skirt
Midi sleeveless button down black dress
Midi printed Jersey dress
Ribbed high neck top
Smocked Midi dress

The skirt I'm keeping, might keep thr black top cos it will go with lots of stuff. The other dress whilst nice and can see why chosen, don't look great on me because I am a size 8 on top and a 12 bottom, which makes dresses awkward. They quality and material is really lovely, I would have probably kept the black dress if it had sleeves. I like the cards that came with each item with suggestions on how to style . And the website really asks lots of questions to get detailed feedback on each item. I've set frequency as monthly and will keep going for next box, I know I am super fussy and difficult to buy for and over time the stylist will understand what I do like.
