These sandals - yay or nay?

I've just ordered them. They look comfy and I think they'd look nice with a couple of things I have.

I'm crap at choosing sandals. Boots and shoes, I seem to know what I like, but sandals I can't get my head round for some reason!

Yay they’re nice 👍🏼

JackieWeaverFever · 07/03/2021 12:47

Yay

Kanaloa · 07/03/2021 12:47

I like them, I always try to choose sandals with a ‘proper’ back because they’re comfier and I think look smarter.

GoryGilmore · 07/03/2021 12:47

They’re nice, look comfy!

GordonsAlive85 · 07/03/2021 12:48

I like them

FreshFaceTime · 07/03/2021 12:48

I think they'll look better on a foot than in the pic so I'm another yay.

Sancarrot · 07/03/2021 12:50

They look great may buy myself some

StCharlotte · 07/03/2021 12:57

I wonder if the answers would be the same if instead of seeing "Office", we were seeing "Hotter" Grin

Anyway it's a yay from me.

midsomermurderess · 07/03/2021 13:04

I'm not keen.

HummusAndCarrotSticks · 07/03/2021 13:19

I'd usually go for chunky footwear, but there's something I don't like about my feet in chunky sandals. Love biker boots and chunky trainers, but chunky sandals end up looking a bit orthopedic on me somehow... I do have very strange feet! They are really boney and gross, but I don't like having nothing but trainers in summertime.

These do look ridiculously comfy, so if they fit ok, I think I'll keep them.

RunnerDown · 07/03/2021 13:22

I think they are lovely and will go with anything

LaCerbiatta · 07/03/2021 13:46

Really dislike them. Sorry. I think it's the small wedge and the lack of strap maybe....

elsaesmeralda · 07/03/2021 13:47

I'm not a fan either

HiPieInTheSky · 07/03/2021 13:54

Sorry, not a fan dont know if its the colour which looks wishy washy, or the wedge?

laughoutquiet · 07/03/2021 13:55

I like them and the fact they're in the sale makes me tempted to order!

HummusAndCarrotSticks · 07/03/2021 13:56

Hmmmm I think I need to try them on with a few outfits... I miss in person shoe shopping 😩

OP posts:
HummusAndCarrotSticks · 07/03/2021 13:57

Yeah, they're real suede I think and heavily reduced! But if they aren't right I won't keep. I have a zero tolerance approach to not right clothes Wink

OP posts:
GlamGloria · 07/03/2021 13:59

I just think they'll get filthy really quickly!

HummusAndCarrotSticks · 07/03/2021 14:00

I feel as if, they'd go well with turned up jeans, but not really with dresses... and I do wear dresses a lot in summer.

OP posts:
Fuckitaaaallllll · 07/03/2021 14:03

I have the high wedge version and they are ridiculously comfy. I'd get them, you can always send them back right?

HummusAndCarrotSticks · 07/03/2021 14:07

Oh yes, they're en route! For the price, they're definitely worth a try on.

Think they would maybe go with shorter dresses and shorts as well, now I think about it...

The colour issue doesn't bother me so much, as I do wear nude shoes and they look a lot better on than off.

Pieceofpurplesky · 07/03/2021 14:20

My mum has a pair like this - she likes a comfy slip on sandal with a slight wedge .... she's 80, She'll be delighted so many people like them. Personally a no from me

HummusAndCarrotSticks · 07/03/2021 14:24
Grin

I'll take advice from women in their 80s thanks. By that stage, they're experts at life Wink

They have had this style in office for a few years, very popular as very comfortable.

Time40 · 07/03/2021 14:42

I wonder if the answers would be the same if instead of seeing "Office", we were seeing "Hotter"

Ah, but we wouldn't be seeing that, though, because Hotter shoes and sandals always have disgusting heels/soles; it's the main problem with them. Sometimes Hotter uppers are quite nice, but they're always ruined by the horrible lower parts.

I quite like your sandals, OP, and I think you could wear them with dresses as well as jeans.
