What colours should I wear (pic included!)

Very nervously (NC'd) putting my photo up for you lovely, stylish ladies to tell me what colours I should be wearing. Photo is in natural light and obvs have standard make up on.

I've got into a real rut of wearing black and I need some direction so when I do start piecing myself together to go back to work, I've got an idea of where to start. I like jewel colours but uncertain if they suit.

If anyone knows me, hi and please don't mention this .

I’m not in the slightest bit stylish so won’t even try and offer any advice but just wanted to say that you look lovely in that yellow top, and you have a very pretty face. If I saw you on the school run I think that you would be one of those mums who can do the effortlessly stylish look well.

Oh @GoryGilmore that's so very kind (thank you) but I'm really not! I live in trainers and jogging bottoms or jeggings this is a very lonely colourful top in my regular collection of dullness.

I agree that colour suits you well. I imagine teal and moss colours would be good on you? Your skin tone is warm, if you didn't have blue eyes I'd have said you were a classic autumn.

Id put you in autumn type shades- coppers, rich greens, deep dark reds and navy instead of black, khaki & olive shades. I think you'd look good in purple too

Maybe I should take this with me when shopping next as I would normally avoid so many of these colours!
