Very nervously (NC'd) putting my photo up for you lovely, stylish ladies to tell me what colours I should be wearing. Photo is in natural light and obvs have standard make up on.

I've got into a real rut of wearing black and I need some direction so when I do start piecing myself together to go back to work, I've got an idea of where to start. I like jewel colours but uncertain if they suit.

If anyone knows me, hi and please don't mention this Grin.

I would say jewel colours like emerald green, and a deep royal blue. You have lovely eyes!

@ShowMeTheSugar I like the sound of those colours, they don't sound too frightening Grin

Definitely Spring in the seasonal colour analysis, warm and clear in tonal. Try cobalt blue , light emerald green, golden yellow, poppy red.

Onlinedilema · 04/03/2021 21:51

I would try plum and possibly burgandy.

DoubleTweenQueen · 04/03/2021 21:54

I would say you're an Autumn :)

eeekpicture · 04/03/2021 22:00

@SnakeRabbitMouse ok great, I'll do a bit of a home job with mine and DHs clothes draped around me. Thank you!

Definitely a spring - as well as Kelly green, try true or tomato red, bright blues, and for neutrals camel or light grey, French navy is supposed to be good too.

JMAngel1 · 05/03/2021 06:07

Your skin is perfect - really dense and luminous - it looks like velvet.

I think you're a deep or warm spring.

YoyoRiot · 05/03/2021 06:32

Autumn colours - browns, golds, khaki, green, peacock colours, cream. Not black and not white. Gold, not silver.

SpeckledyHen · 05/03/2021 06:43

You are either Spring or Autumn . Why not get your colours done , it will be the best money saving investment you can make .
Within each season you will then have a breakdown of your very best colours as there is quite a spectrum within each . They will all suit you but some more than others.

Thank you all Smile

Just wanted to say - you’re gorgeous and that sunny yellow looks amazing!

MammaMiaWallace · 05/03/2021 10:57

I also think jewel tones will work on you; can imagine a rich purple, deep royal blue, emerald green would all look fabulous. Love the colour you’re wearing as well Smile Looking good OP!

PaulHollywoodsLowHangingFruit · 05/03/2021 14:12

Soft autumn- there is coolness to your colouring and the top is the first thing I see when I look at you- therefore although nice it is jarring with your natural colouring.

Is your natural hair more of a muted brown?

zippyswife · 05/03/2021 14:22

I have no idea about colours. But your skin is to die for and your eye colour is stunning. So unusual.

raffegiraffe · 06/03/2021 21:42

I think you are a Spring. Lots of yellow shades in the spring palatte

goose1964 · 07/03/2021 00:41

I'd say your at the autumn end of spring and spring end of autumn. I know this sounds odd but there is some overlap,. For instance I have a light green dress (spring) and a mustard yellow too (autumn) both of which I've had compliments on.

colour analysis

Try this colour analysis quiz to find your colours

Just wanted to say thank you for this link - I've tried lots of online resources to try and see what season I am and found this by far the best Smile I had an online assessment done a while ago which said I was autumn, but looking at this I think I might be a clear spring. I was always certain I wasn't spring as I look awful in pastel colours, but clear spring seems to avoid pastels. Off to try out some different colours in my wardrobe...
