Cool or too 70's?

I saw these jeans and thought they looked incredible, are they too 70's? Might be that I am slightly obsessed with how amazing Jenna Coleman looked in The Serpent. (for those who are cautious clicking on links - Sezane Martin Trousers in the Chambray finish)

I love them, the chambray and the dark green in particular. Then again, I'm a huge lover of 70's style and embrace it fully. You adore them, so get them?

SummaLuvin · 03/03/2021 13:28

@Polecat03 Yes, I I liked the vintage blue too... Might just have to order to try them out

3littleowls · 04/03/2021 06:11

I love them, especially the dark green

LonstantonSpiceMuseum · 04/03/2021 06:25

Oh my god they are gorgeous! So flattering and they look comfy too. I think 70s style will be back in soon anyway, that style of larger looser trouser definitely is. Thank you for sharing 😉

Snezcomb · 04/03/2021 07:42

I have them! The chambray ones and the navy They’re really lovely, soft material that I think will be nice in warmer months. I love the vintage blue but it’s out of stock.

Happymum12345 · 04/03/2021 08:55

Absolutely love them!

SummaLuvin · 04/03/2021 08:58

Ok, you are all convincing me I need them...

CatherineTheNotSoGreat · 04/03/2021 11:08

Ooh i love them too - definitely try them OP!

I was looking at the navy last night. I'm a biggish 10 at the moment. Does anyone know what the sizing is like?

StellaWol · 04/03/2021 14:32

Love love love them! Please buy them immediately. I’ve just bought two blouses from Sezane and can’t wait to get them, such a beautiful brand!

irishfeminist · 04/03/2021 14:37

They're lovely but the horrible manmade fibre is offputting - acetate and viscose?🤢

Loopyloututu2 · 04/03/2021 15:39

I like them - wish they had the ecru ones in my size but they’ve sold out - no idea where I’d wear them though!

aloeha · 04/03/2021 15:40

They’re lovely, the 70s are coming back in as well

Loopyloututu2 · 04/03/2021 15:46

Do the clothes ship from France? Does anyone know what returns are like?

SummaLuvin · 04/03/2021 15:58

@Loopyloututu2 yes, they do ship from France, free delivery and returns on orders over £200. They look after all post-Brexit import duties/customs so no need to worry there. The return pretty standard, drop it off at collect plus location. Just note the returns window is shorter than typical, pretty sure it is 14 days, but you should check to be 100%.

Thank you Summa - it’s a really nice website - I love the 70’s vibe.

FluffyBlueJumper · 04/03/2021 16:05

I have similar trousers / jeans. This shape is really flattering.

EL8888 · 04/03/2021 16:07

Oooh l like!

Gwynnie79 · 04/03/2021 16:15

Love them, I'm fully embracing the 70s vibe at the moment and I am loving The Serpent. Now I just need to figure out how to do DIY curtain bangs ala Jenna Coleman 🤔

SantoriniPlease · 04/03/2021 19:31

They are nice, but what shoes would you wear them with? I'd worry flats would look too dumpy and heels would be too Saturday Night Fever??

Doodledoop · 04/03/2021 20:03

False pockets! But why you lying pair of trousers?

They do look lovely though as long as you are prepared to take a bag everywhere.

SummaLuvin · 25/03/2021 18:33

Update

Just in case anyone was wondering. I finally ordered them in the chambray (denim) finish on Monday. They arrived today and I love them!!! Super flattering and definitely a bit 70s. I will have to get them turned up as even on my tippy toes they are touching the floor, for reference I am 5"4.
