Swit swoo @LivingDeadGirlUK! You look amazing in that! Love.

Still not dressed as DH did school run. The 3yo and I are watching Mr Tumble and drinking tea (me).

Will post a pic later.

Thanks very much @ParisJeTAime I am feeling quite slinky I admit, kinda makes up for the feeling I had last week when I gave in and bought some size 18 work trousers, although not having my trousers dig in to me constantly was also a bonus!

I've been checking out that Poetry site and I think I'm in love, everything looks so comfy and cool, its a shame the colors aren't quite right for me (not enough purple and black!). Already bidding on some bits on ebay Blush

alphaechokiwi · 09/03/2021 14:46

Hi @LivingDeadGirlUK - I really love that jumper dress. It's very flattering on you.
I love Poetry and Wrap, it's sister brand. Those cords are the first thing I bought from them but I've got my eye on some linen tapered trousers - maybe next paycheck....
Today I'm wearing a brown sparkle knit top and a cream denim A-line midi skirt both size 16 from Jigsaw. I'm sure I've posted a picture before so I won't bore you with the same again.

ParisJeTAime · 10/03/2021 08:36

Morning!

Your pics are never boring alpha. Love your style!

Here I am in:

Nude cotton dress, Asos, 18T
Black cardi, Tu, 16
Black Snags, E

I'm about to start work in my PJ's :/ after waking in the middle of the night to deal with nightmares, twice. Everyone managed to oversleep!

I'll try and get dressed in a bit once I've cleared my emails!

StCharlotte · 10/03/2021 08:56

Ha ha! I'm glad because I was missing that Lady on this thread Smile

Aaaanyhoo....

It's Baltic today so I've even got socks on with the Uggs.

Pink tunic from Evans. Very old but much loved.
Scarf from Marrakesh (smilar available in most city break destinations!)
Leggings from TU.
Suspect my longline woolly cardigan will get an outing too. It has a big hood which looks hilarious but does add extra warmth across the shoulders.

Stay warm everyone!

Grin ah thanks Charlotte!

Love the cosy outfit, especially the cardi and the raspberry top.

It is Baltic and raining here. Don't think we'll go anywhere much tbh. If 3you accepts that! He may not.

It all makes sense now, I had a feeling I'd been Swit Swoo'ed by you before @ParisJeTAime :P

Weather is terrible here in the NW too, I'm due a walk with a friend at lunch so I'm in black jeans, a maroon hooded top from GAP and will be putting my hiking boots and walking jacket on to deal with the weather!

ParisJeTAime · 10/03/2021 11:44

Haaaahahaha oh God, sorry @LivingDeadGirlUK! That's a little worrying 🤣.

StCharlotte · 10/03/2021 11:51

Oh God LivingDeadGirlUK I know they say there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes, but I cannot imagine wanting to go out in this! Brave girl!

(I recognised you from the bar across your mirror which I thought was a weird belt for ages - how thick am I?! And also your name obvs.)

I loved your jumper dress by the way. It looked really good on you.

(And of course "ParisJeTAime" will already be heartily sick of familiar with the Meghan Cigarette Trousers GrinGrin)

LivingDeadGirlUK · 10/03/2021 11:59

I know @StCharlotte but with lockdown I've not seen anyone for so long, I don't really want to cancel a much needed natter with my bestie. Hopefully we won't regret it :p

StCharlotte · 10/03/2021 13:13

After I posted I did think I would go out there naked if I could see my best friend!

alphaechokiwi · 10/03/2021 14:09

@ParisJeTAime - very nice colours, I love your dress today. @StCharlotte your hoodie cardie is a just like mine, which I'm told makes me look like the grim reaper when I have the hood up Grin. I care not, it keeps me warm... Your pink top is lovely.
I hope you enjoyed your walk @LivingDeadGirlUK .
Today I'm wearing a cashmere jumper from Jigsaw's eBay outlet and a stretchy skirt from Topshop.

ParisJeTAime · 10/03/2021 14:19

Thanks alpha! I love these colours too. I feel a bit art deco! The Asos dress has nice sleeves, which I'll maybe get to show one day when the weather improves!

You have nailed cosy and stylish today alpha!

Hope you had a lovely walk living! 3yo and I have been to the park. It's one with a trampoline, so even though it was too wet for him to sit on anything, he still got to run around and bounce a bit. But I have to admit I didn't enjoy the crap weather at all!

Great outfits! I really like the jumper dress. It looks great on you. That nude dress is also really nice. Do you have a link to it? It isn't a colour I would be drawn to normally, but I think it looks good with the black.

sonjadog · 10/03/2021 14:22

Today’s outfit: dungarees Lucy&Yak, top M&S.

Dentist again today. Lots of work being done.

rifles through wardrobe looking for something dribbleproof...

ParisJeTAime · 11/03/2021 08:01

Oof sorry Charlotte. But still...an outing, hurrah!

Hope it isn't too painful or involving too many injections!

Bit of bling on my sweater today. I've a site meeting today, wouldn't usually go for wide leg jeans as they get muddy but this project is an internal fitout. Just need to try extra hard not to lean into any plaster or wet paint! Next jeans sz 16 and a warehouse sweater size 14.

UntilYourNextHairBrainedScheme · 11/03/2021 09:04

Lots of lovely outfits in the photos! I've been wearing things I've posted before, and all variations on jeans and a jumper (either Next bootcut jeans or my Levis) so not worth photos!

I did give my dark green Jules blazer (which I used for the Saturday style challenge a couple of weeks ago) its first real world outing yesterday, with dark blue Next bootcut jeans, and was happy wearing it. I even went into a clothes shop - they've opened in areas with Covid incidence below 50 per 100,000 now. I only had ten minutes in the shop though as I walked there while dc3 was in his 30 minute guitar lesson - now also in person (with Plexiglas screens and masks), yay! I tried a bra on but it was too small in the cup and the shop didn't stock anything above an E cup - boo hiss! So didn't buy anything. There was almost nobody in the shop though.

Our schools are only partially open - exam years (DC1) are back fully, primary is back alternate days (dc3) but in between secondary (DC2) are still homeschooling. I was thinking of using today to go bra shopping "properly" as two out of 3 children are at school and I have the day off, but for some reason now its possible it's unappealing - searching for the right bra size in a wearable style is somewhat depressing here, I really don't know where German / Bavarian women buybras in larger cup sizes which don't look matronly... With the exception of push up, padded "Dirndl bras" it seems most shops only stock cup sizes to C or D, and those that have bigger sizes cater for the (much) more mature market... hmmm

Going to go for awalk instead...
