Ooh I lurrrve that jumpsuit @ParisJeTAime! And look at that hourglass shape! This apple is very envious Smile

Leggings/tunic/Uggs today. Doesn't warrant a picture. Can't wait to put the Uggs to the back of the wardrobe for a few months. Nearly there...

Imkindreally

I think all those looks are great on you. Especially 1 and 3. For the weather I'd be adding black opaques and boots. Don't panic and stick with it Smile

Ah thank you StC Flowers. Yes, I can't wait to put away winter stuff! Surely it can't be too much longer now and we can prance about in summer dresses Grin.

@Imkindreally, thank you too! And I agree with Charlotte; I like all of those looks, but especially 1 and 3.

@StCharlotte I hadn’t even thought of tights and boots Blush can you tell I’m a jeans only kinda person!

@Imkindreally - opaques and boots would look great with that outfit. That skirt really emphasises your curves in a good way....
@ParisJeTAime that's a lovely jumpsuit, it's a beautiful colour. Definitely a keeper.
Today I'm wearing a toast skirt (16) which is potentially another for my eBay list.... I'll wait until summer though, it might look better with chunky sandals and a nice t-shirt. My top is jigsaw size L.

Oh I love that skirt alpha! Yes, hang on to it and it might come into its own in summertime.

I think I'm keeping the jumpsuit. I've returned the dress though. Didn't even want to show you all a pic, which speaks volumes really!

Oooh I’ve missed lots of looks. Friday is a day for a long walk for me with a friend. I shall have a proper look tomorrow. I’m still trying to work out what to do for my Saturday Style challenge.

I wasn't going to bother with the 3 way style challenge today, and then this beautiful thing caught my eye in the wardrobe. It's a Toast dress in a silk cotton mix. It's the most beautiful item of clothing I own. It was originally over £300, but popped up in their Christmas sale for £100. Reader, I bought itGrin.... Even if I never wore it, I would not regret it....it just makes me happy.
Anyhow today I present it 1. On its own with clog soled shoes 2. With a Uniqlo XL jacket and brogues and 3. With a green jumper (colours reflecting my nationalityWink).
It's cheered me right up styling this, and I'd love some ideas on how else it could be worn, especially colours that might work with it. Happy Saturday everyone!

Oh alphaechokiwi that dress is a real beauty and such a delicious colour! Well done for spotting it. It looks fabulous on you.

I would debut it at a wedding and then wear it all the time - especially with those perfect sandals.

I may be a bit unimaginative but I would probably only wear it on its own although I really like the shape with the jumper and boots but I'm not sure about the green. I might try for a similar look but with a cream sweater. But then my sense of adventure is largely absent these days.

Lovely lovely dress.

I love the outfits here!

It's making me realise that since our showroom has been closed at work and I'm not facing the public, I've going to work everyday in jeggings and a Joe Brown tunic..... and guess what I've put on this morning......... this is the one I've got on today, it's one of my faves.

I need a wardrobe update but have put weight on since Christmas so that needs to go first Sad Agree with the PP who said about the Meghan cigarette trousers, I've got about 6 pairs and they're so so comfy but smart too.

I love the shape of that dress @StCharlotte, but, like you, I'm not sure about the lace things! Also, and this is just me, but I don't get on with polyester. I find it sweaty Blush in summer and not warm enough in winter.

But, you could always try it and just have it in your head that you'll return it if it doesn't look AMAZING on. And there is polyester and polyester iyswim. Some feels nicer than others.

alpha I love the dress! I think my favourite is the one on its own, but I like all three looks a lot. I think the second look with the blazer, might also look nice with trainers.

StCharlotte
I love the shape of the dress but not the pattern or (shiny?) fabric.

Report
alphaechokiwi · 06/03/2021 10:45

@StCharlotte - I like the look but the fabric would put me off. But as others have said, you can always order it for a look and return it....

StCharlotte · 06/03/2021 11:38

I'm obviously not that in love with it as I'd completely forgotten I'd asked ha ha! And it was only an hour ago Confused

Anyway my Saturday challenge is the aforementioned Meghan cigarette trousers... (thank you missbridgerton for the idea)

Floral top is Violetta (Mango)
Cream top is Evans
Green top is Dotty P

I realise they're not exactly different styles as they're all just different tops and the same shoes. I'll do better next week Grin

@StCharlotte - those are great trousers. I like all 3 looks, but the cream shirt is my favourite

Oh those trousers are great charlotte! And they look v versatile too.

I like the first look, with the cream blouse, best I think, but also really like the green top.

I haven't even thought about style challenge yet! If I don't do it today, I'll do tomorrow.

Having a huge clearout here. I've done all my clothes, but need to do some household stuff too. I've done my cosmetics drawer this morning, but then realised it's only one drawer out of about 5 Blush. I found 5 bottles of the same serum this morning, which is ridiculous. I do NOT need any more skincare stuff!

It's my fault; I put away my winter coat! So obviously it was going to get cold again Wink. I have alternatives, like a gilet under another coat, but I do look about the size of a house in that combo and it's a bit restrictive around the arms. Sigh, sigh. Come on Spring!
