Can anyone recommend a lovely body moisturizer? Have been using It Works body cocoon, and I love it. Leaves my skin feeling so soft but my other half hates the smell. Just want something that leaves my skin really soft. Thanks!

For functional makes your skin soft and gets rid of the driest of dry patches: udderly smooth off amazon. Seriously amazing stuff!

But you did say "lovely" so... Clarins or L'occitane shear butter lotion for me.

Brazilian bum bum cream - not just for your bum and smells amazing! V soft 😀

Nonamesavail · 23/02/2021 21:15

I live the body shop body yoghurt

maddy68 · 23/02/2021 21:16

Soap and glory body butter. Amazing and smells delicious

WellTidy · 23/02/2021 21:17

Rituals Sakura whipped body soufflé. It is amazing - 200ml pot for about £17. Really subtle and so moisturising. It is my holy grail of body moisturisers and I have tried loads. I also like occitane almond, but that’s exactly what it smells of - almonds. I love it but it’s not to everyone’s liking.

O’keefes
Genius stuff - no offensive scent and affordable

VoteLabia · 23/02/2021 21:24

Neutrogena Hydro Boost has got a light, cream-gel consistency and keeps skin amazingly soft. Smells clean and fresh if you prefer that over sweeter fragrances

IAmJackieWeaver · 23/02/2021 21:27

Korres Santorini Vine, beautiful smell.

Summerhillsquare · 23/02/2021 21:27

Neal's Yard, especially the frankincense one.

I’ve got some seriously expensive lotions, like BumBum, Laura Mercier, La Mer etc. All lovely.

Aldi’s 85p body lotion in the white bottle is extremely good. Seriously.

Hersetta427 · 23/02/2021 21:35

The body shop almond milk body yoghurt is fabulous. Non greasy and absorbs instantly.

Lougirl · 23/02/2021 21:44

Thanks for all the suggestions!

The white nivea one. On the affordability end. If my numbers came up, Elemis.

Fromthegekko · 23/02/2021 23:01

Soap & Glory body butter is the only thing that has sorted out the dry skin on my knees and elbows. I have tried so many things over the years from ££££ - £ and I couldn’t budge it. I borrowed some of SILS 2 Christmas’s ago and when I got home found my dry patches had disappeared. I’ve bought it ever since. I get the sugar crush which smells limey and gorgeous.

As an absolutely massive treat, or if you can find an offer, or a mini/travel size somewhere, I got some Laura Mercier body souffle for Christmas, it feels so beautiful to put on and smells incredible. A bit like it was made by fairy's and is infused with a little bit of magic!

Heartofglass12345 · 23/02/2021 23:47

I've used palmers coco butter moisturiser for year, I love it and love the smell

JW13 · 23/02/2021 23:54

@Catmummyof2 when I was in Molton brown at Bicester last autumn they told me they were discontinuing it. I love it too.

Agree with pps on Soap and Glory. Very reasonable and good quality. For a posh purchase Laura Mercier or Aesop.

GoLightlyontheEarth · 23/02/2021 23:57

Clarins body lotion. It’s expensive but the best body lotion I’ve ever used.

Elemis, Molton Brown & Clarins body lotions are gorgeous (and I have them) but I also use Childs Farm Baby Moisturiser all over. It leaves my skin so silky soft & was a snip at £2.99 in Boots (in offer)
Also it's great for dry slightly itchy winter skin.
