Off to see my two sister in laws today. One lives locally, the other is visiting from California and has finished quarantining. Cardigan white stuff, trousers monsoon.

We got very wet! Thank god for my genuinely waterproof Merrill coat! Obviously bloody dog was perfectly behaved on the walk with trainer...

I finally feel myself again after a manicure and the slugs on my forehead have been waxed, although a boring day of washing and hoovering for me.

We went into Oxford today on the train to visit the natural history museum only problem is it said it was open online when it wasn't, then just as we are near the station DD had an autistic meltdown 🤦‍♀️ did manage to get myself some new ECCO trainers which I'll share later.

Had to take the belt off as the dress kept riding up.

We’re currently all stuck at home as DD had a positive lateral flow test yesterday. We’ve taken her for a confirmatory PCR test and are awaiting the results. (The only place she can possibly have picked up covid in the relevant timeframe is from the hospital).

So my outfit today probably embodies “stuck at home on a chilly bank holiday”

I am ashamed to say I ordered another pair of sandals. I love my black chunky DM ones but wanted a tan pair for summer as well. Very pleased with these, they ate Blowfish Malibu. The leather is very soft.

I seem to have gone off most of my trousers they are all annoying me for various reasons so thought I'd try some more denim what I was going to do was buy a few things from M&S but then decided to try Next as they are 5mins up the road from me so returns are easy.

So first lot of bottoms all not really working for various reasons

Went a bit silly and thought id try cycling shorts these are £8 so not sure what I expected but bet they are see through in sunlight. I'm extremely lucky that I don't have much cellulite but these show it!

This dress does the puffy thing that makes you look pregnant 🤰

Not sure what I was thinking with these pleather ones and the fit is terrible they are low rise!

The black cycling shorts are just as see through as the green.

These shorts are nice but uncomfortable when you sit down.

I love the ripped jeans @Sickoffamilydrama. Not a fan of the cycling shorts - sorry, it's not you it's them! Unless you will actually be wearing them for cycling and if so then obviously they would be practical but as a fashion item I'm
not convinced. I like the green shorts though 👍

Like the general style of this dress but there was just something not quite right tried tucking in the frills but just didn't feel right.

Think I'll keep these shorts comfy and F&F so only £18

Thanks @EllaPaella I liked them too not sure if it's a height thing or a too tight for my hips but they are giving me a wedgie. I might try the size up in them.
