I'm wearing the exact same clothes as yesterday as I had to dress in a hurry for dog Walker ( DH has hurt his back) but I have Birkenstock's on for the first time this year! Yay

I don’t think there is anything frumpy about your outfit @EllaPaella. Mind you, I’ve just been reading a thread which claims skinny jeans are middle-aged. Since DD (16) doesn’t wear any other style of jeans except skinnies and I have flares/girlfriend/slim boyfriend jeans I’m going to assume that it’s a sweeping generalisation.

Mind you, DD is currently coveting my M&S trousers (which have a semi-elasticated waist). Maybe she is middle-aged

Yes @OublietteBravo my 19 year old stepdaughter has continued to wear skinny jeans, she does wear other styles but definitely still in the skinnies. Maybe someone should tell the young'uns that mumsnet says they aren't cool - I doubt very much they would be too concerned
I'm off out this afternoon for a couple of beer garden drinks with some friends. Long may this sunny weather continue ☀️
Trousers are Hush and were given to me buy a very lovely mumsnetter friend, not worn them yet so this is the first outing. Top is years old from New Look, Allsaints jacket and veja trainers.

Hello everyone! I’ve been absent from this thread for months but thinking of rejoining.
Basically with lockdown I’ve ended up in PJs/joggers every day. I think it started in first lockdown when I was WFH with a toddler and literally didn’t have time to get dressed. Then I got stuck in a massive rut

But I’m determined to change my ways as I feel rubbish about myself. My DC is turning 3 soon so I’ve told myself I can no longer use “the baby” or “the toddler” as an excuse for looking like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards. I need to get my act together.

I’ve also put on weight - I’m now a solid size 12 which I know is not massive but I’d spent my whole adult life until a couple of years ago at a 6/8 so i just need to adjust and re-learn what suits me.

Today I’m wearing a Boden top and Sainsbury’s jeans - hardly high fashion but at least I didn’t sleep in it, so progress!

I'm out this evening which involves me getting a a train and I so so nearly chucked on running stuff (it's a casual thing) with the excuse of jogging to the train station. But I thought no! You lot would do better than that. So I have actually clothes on

You can't see them but I'm wearings DD's luminous striped socks (bought in a Declan O Hara inspired fit of rage at the incessant stealing of socks - if you've read Jilly Cooper, that will make sense) to add some excitement to the bland outfit.

Yes the jeans were from Sainsbury’s about 3 weeks ago - they are called “denim joggers” - not that they would be at all suitable for jogging in!

@EllaPaella great sandals, they really work on you. I had my hooves filed (pedicure) on Saturday so might crack my old Birkenstocks out again - or buy some new ones, as my old ones are getting tatty. Any excuse!

Morning all! Another beautiful day here. I really need to move to a warmer climate; my mood is INFINITELY better when it's warm and sunny 🌞

Dress from M&S; it's a bit of a sack but I like the colour.

Good morning. I also decided to wear a dress today. My mood is definitely better when the weather is warmer, but strangely I find autumn/winter outfits much easier than spring/summer ones.
