I've fallen off this thread again and back into the jeans/hoodie zone. Meant to be sorting my wardrobe which is stuffed full of dresses which I never wear, majority of which still have their tags on! It's blowing a gale here today so dressed for warmth. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

@Softpebbles i have the veja campo and just went with my usual size, they are really comfy imo. I didn't find the tongues a problem at all. I have quite wide feet and a high instep and they are a great fit for me.

Brrr it's cold today. I was contemplating a walk when it started hailing! Hunkering down instead.

@Softpebbles those trainers are lovely. @ellapaella I also have wide feet (since DC - they also grew at least half a size) so I might try them.

@RacheyCat I wish it was warm enough for an outfit like that in London! I'm fed up of hiding my outfits under my enormous down jacket 😂

I completely feel you, @itssquidstella. I've just moved here from somewhere that was below zero (and consistently around -20C) for five months of the year. If I never see another down jacket, it'll be too soon. DH asked what we should so with all the coats and snow boots now, and I said THROW THEM IN THE BIN.

After eight years of that weather, I don't foresee me choosing to visit cold climates for holidays.

Ooh yes @dellacucina this anthro trousers are a lovely colour. @Greyhairwarmheart the close up shows how pretty the jumper is. Have just succumbed to an extra 40% off white stuff sale email to get a dress and a cotton jumper. No spend march didn't quite work.

Thank you @Sooverthemill. Good luck with new purchases. I was trying not to spend till after lockdown but succumbed to a white stuff jumper cardigan. Very good sale this year.

Can I join? I've been watching this thread for a while and loving seeing all the different styles.
I've been trying really hard for the last year to "upgrade" my weekend wardrobe. I've always been a more is more person and my wardrobe is absolutely bursting at the seams with cheap clothes from Primark, Shein and similar. I'm ok with this for work clothes but I'm trying hard to buy less but buy better for casual stuff.
Today I'm wearing jeans from Mint Velvet, Stan Smiths and huge blouse from Topshop. Covered it all up with my down coat to go out for a walk though!

Not sure what look I'm channeling here I think it's art teacher again!

No post yesterday as nearly finished packing the house we were supposed to exchange on the Friday that has just been but now it's tomorrow and move on Friday, my autistic daughter is starting to come unraveled with it all as well although she desperately wants her own bedroom, she hasn't had a major meltdown in years but I wouldn't be surprised if she does.

@itssquidstella thank you for your compliment re: colourful outfits a few pages back. I do love a bit of colour! I tip into 'Children's TV presenter' quite a bit, I fear, but I'm sort of at a point where I don't really mind, so long as my clothes make me happy!

Excuse the dinosaur socks. I ordered them in the sale for 2 year old DS, thinking they were a child's size 4-7. Turns out they're not, but they do fit me, so now I'm the proud owner of extremely bright, dinosaur socks... 😂

Happy Monday! I am trying out a new outfit today for work...the trousers are new look, trusty £6 white pumps, a body suit and a nasty gal shirt which is half cord half leather...not sure about it but never mind - the office is practice
empty so at least not many will see me if it is a fashion fail!
