Thanks for the Levi's update Shop, sorry they didn't work, but the 501 crops look cool. I used to wear 501s all the time, dyed in various colours from Camden market! I've ordered the high & loose to try but the shortest length they come in is 31" which I think will be too long for me.

I bought some crop jeans from JCrew a few years back and they came down to my ankles. I forgot I was a foot shorter than the model.

Ah fond memories of buying Levi’s from Camden market @stokey. I had some navy ones from there that I wore constantly with either a grey tee or a white blouse

I have only been buying comfy things... some cotton knits from Zara and some Adidas trainers. Working in the office but dressing down, so need to up my casual game!

@shopafrolic exactly the same experience with the Levi high and loose as you. They were ok round the waist but tight on the hips also long. I've just ordered about 5 pairs from &OS to try. I'll report back.

Good news is that we have bought a house in our new city and move in about 3 weeks. Huge relief as I was very stressed about it. But I love the new house so worth the wait.

This cleanser is my only S&B news!! Probably better as a second cleanse if you wear a lot of makeup but it's the most hydrating cleanser I have tried. Skin feels like no serum or moisturizer required after using it.

Absolutely no style news here-have just returned 2 Hush boilersuits and a Phase Eight dress; am so fed up of returning clothes, either the sizing is all over the place or I need so much taking up the garment loses its shape grr

In answer to a much earlier question, we have 2 hols booked, one UK and one abroad (rebooked from last year) so fingers crossed we get there.

this dress is my latest return. Lovely colour, lovely style but didn’t like the material. I’ve got this version from a few years ago and it just feels such better quality.

I’ve definitely been returning more hush than I keep. Prices have gone up but quality has gone down. Also where things used to fit nicely I find a lot now doesn’t.

Hello ladies, happy Sunday!

I sent back all the &OS jeans but think I liked the Treasure cut ones best. Basically I need to lose some weight as jeans are just not working for me at the moment. At least summer is on its way, so can hide in floaty dresses for a bit!

And hear you about sending stuff back QueenC, I spent over an hour sorting out all my returns yesterday!

Also small thing but the buttons on all the &OS jeans were incredibly hard to open. I think they've cut the buttonholes too small.

OMG I lost you all....I had massive panic attack, had to wade through “Talk” trying to find the “Style and Beauty” , it was horrible.
Well, elasticated waists firmly on to tackle slow cooked roast lamb and chocolate eggs today.....and , bliss, Lent is over which means MrDry is back on the naughty stuff (not THAT!!!) lovely to share a nice (half) bottle of full bodied red. Happy Easter everyone.

Oh and for old time’s sake the other night I tried a lot of my “do” dresses and heels (some tags still on ) ..... i have visions of me looking totally over dressed this autumn at any occasion (and falling over )

Oh getting dressed up again sounds so alien. We had another household over for lunch in the garden yesterday and was almost tempted to wear a dress but it was blooming freezing so stuck with jeans and faithful duvet coat.

I've got two nights out in a couple of weeks, one actually in town, so may be tempted to dress up. Although likely will spend most of it in a coat unless the weather changes.

It's my neighbour's 40th this week. Any ideas what I could get her? She is an interior designer so has a beautifully decorated house. Was thinking maybe a Diptyque candle but thought you clever bunch may have so better ideas.

Good candles are always lovely to get stokey. I got lots of thoughtful gifts when I moved and really enjoyed things like good coffee, a really good bottle of wine, good honey. Basically an elevated version of regular treats. Means less waste and not getting more stuff that you have to find space for.

Or something like a hardback volume of poetry, Mary Oliver's collection 'Devotions' is wonderful.

Thanks Lib. I just read some of Mary Oliver's poems, they're really lovely, but she's not very literary. I have another friend though who would love them so will make a note of them for her ♥️
