Comfortable joggers which look like ordinary trousers. Do the exist?

I am looking for pull on trousers in comfortable cotton/jersey. Not too thin and no cuff on the bottom, preferably in navy, size 16. Does this holy grail of trousers even exist? Has anyone seen or got any recently? Thanks!

Next , but you may have to wait for spring stock

StartingGrid · 31/01/2021 11:51

Yes I second Next, though I do have to say I have a few pairs in the different colours/prints and the navy ones are my least favourite, much prefer the patterened ones

Candiscophonous · 31/01/2021 11:52

Search jersey joggers. Next have patterns and some plain. They’re not uniform size or fabric quality though across the patterns, so perhaps order a few and see how they are.

Whatisapension · 31/01/2021 12:00

I bought some from Asda and I’ve more or less lived in them the last few months WFH, as they are so comfy.I feel I have zero clothes to wear when they are in the washGrin

I’ve just checked on their website and they have quite a few different ones now, so I’m due a visit I think to stock up!

Candiscophonous · 31/01/2021 12:00

I agree the next navy ones aren’t nearly as good as the patterned versions . The navy and black are kind of thin and a tad clingy, whereas the patterned ones are heavier, slinkier jersey and are far more flattering.

ApolloandDaphne · 31/01/2021 12:01

I have two pairs from Next which I am not overly keen on.The material is too thin. They are fine for the summer but I need them to be cosy.

My nearest Asda is a 40 minute drive away and I don't think it would be considered an essential journey just at the moment. I will look on the website though.

Look an Amazon, they do lots on there.

Radio4Rocks · 31/01/2021 12:04

BonMarche pops up in facebook and they look ok.

FreakinFrankNFurter · 31/01/2021 12:05

What do you all wear the patterned joggers with? I find them comfy but feel like I’m wearing pyjamas when I wear them

LolaSmiles · 31/01/2021 12:06

Following with interest.

Uniqlo. Always

Saint and Sophia always have ads for trousers like this- they look good but I haven't bought anything from them so can't vouch for quality

Hush, Baukjen and Saint& Sofia all have these types of trousers

I bought some from Hush in the summer and they have not worn well. I won't be buying any more from there. I will look at the other places you mentioned though.

Uniglo thermal trousers are a bit like this. They are pull on, are wonderfully warm, but look great - tapered, fake pockets on the back. They also squish everything in Grin

These ones: www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/women-heattech-ultra-stretch-leggings-trousers-429152COL09SMA004000.html

Saint and Sofia apartment pants are great, but on the pricey side

Pigtailsandall · 31/01/2021 13:28

I got these from H&M. Incredibly comfy but they are cheap so the quality is not amazing. However wear them lots and lots

www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0752814017.html

Also got some heavy-weight, super-soft ones from Mint Velvet. No cuffs but the legs are tapered.

I wear lots of printed bottoms but I like wearing a white t-shirt so there you go. Or I choose a solid-coloured top in one of the colours the bottoms have

DeadCertain · 31/01/2021 14:34

I ordered these earlier (but they were cheaper from Thread) - are they similar to what you mean? www.baukjen.com/products/georgie-pant-black-with-soft-white-grey

raffegiraffe · 31/01/2021 15:18

M and s straight leg joggers sound similar to what you want

I've ordered these as well as a few other items from M&S. I will see how I go with them before trying elsewhere. Thanks to all who responded.

I have these from Cos. 100% cotton and quite thick. They do a similar pair in navy too. I really like them and find them comfortable and flattering.
