Need a facial oil - Clarins?

Or something else?

I usually use Decelor but since they’ve been taken over by L’Oréal, they’ve changed and the products are now shit (IMO). I have always loved Decelor oils and balms. I love the smell of Neroli - that sort of lovely spa, relaxing smell.

I bought The Ordinary Rose Oil. Don’t like it. It feels like I am rubbing vegetable oil on my face. Clarins seem to do a few facial oils and body oils that look lovely but I wonder if anyone has any other good recommendations before I spend ££. Doesn’t have to be at the pricier end.

I love the Kiehl's cannabis face oil, bit pricey but lasts absolutely ages (over a year)

mrssmiling · 27/01/2021 18:03

I use this - a good product and I really like the smell...there is neroli in it.

At the cheaper end of the scale, Aldi do some great facial oils - I have a rose one. Unfortunately they tend to be on limited offer, and not online, but worth looking for if you are shopping in store.

I have just started using sairaskin facial oil, it is so good. I have really dry skin.

Chocaholic9 · 27/01/2021 18:41

I like the Maelove glow maker serum.

Chickydoo · 27/01/2021 18:43

Votary oil is gorgeous!

Annebronte · 27/01/2021 20:48

Clarins blue orchid is my favourite. And I’ve tried loads.

hillarypcof · 27/01/2021 20:51

Another vote for Clarins blue orchid oil 😍

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 27/01/2021 21:04

I use Kiehl's Midnight Oil. I think that's what it's called. It's really lightweight and I also use it under foundation, so not only at midnight.

Lasts a long time.

Zazu44 · 27/01/2021 21:12

Willowberry skin care do a gorgeous natural face oil ( other items are lush too).

CeaseAndDesist · 27/01/2021 21:28

I like Clarins Blue Orchid Oil too; it's what I'm using at the moment.

Also the Sunday Riley oils are good - CEO Glow or Juno are my faves - but they are more expensive.

I love Elemis pro-collagen marine oil. It smells amazing, a real nice spa fragrance and is soothing in the right spots without being greasy

DinosaurDiana · 27/01/2021 21:34

I can second the Liz Earle oil.

Crookairroad · 27/01/2021 22:07

Thank you. I’ll look into those suggestions now.

Tropic Skincare do a fabulous range of oils and serums.
Happy to give you the lowdown on any of them - I'm an ambassador / consultant but I it for the love of the stuff!

GhostCurry · 27/01/2021 22:34

I love the idea of an oil, but I’ve tried many and they do absolutely nothing for me. Am I the only one?

XiCi · 27/01/2021 22:35

What type of skin do you have?
I love the True rosehip oil linked to above. My all time favourite though is Clarins Skin Beauty Repair Concentrate. The blue orchid oil is a bit heavy for me.

PBJelly · 27/01/2021 22:37

I really like Sunday Riley - I use CEO Glow in the morning and Juno in the evening.

MrDarcysMa · 27/01/2021 22:41

Kheils midnight concentrate

didireallysaythat · 27/01/2021 22:43

I like the Liz Earle one - the Elemis one is good too. I wasn't that bothered by the Clarins one though

AprilThe8th · 27/01/2021 22:44

I use rosehip oil or bio oil

Nancylovesthecock · 27/01/2021 22:44

Supergreens facial oil by tropic. Bloody magic stuff!

TheVanguardSix · 27/01/2021 22:48

Clarins Blue Orchid is beautiful! But if you're combination/oily, go with Clarins Lotus oil.
I've really, really wanted to try Rituals Namaste oil. Has anyone here tried it?
I really love Tropic skincare elixir omega oil at night. I've avoided Tropic because it's an MLM, but the products my friend gave me samples of are amazing and I've ended up biting and going for a full bottle of the elixir.

Jemimatheragdoll · 27/01/2021 22:51

I'm not generally keen on face oils however received a day & night oil in the John Lewis advent calendar from a brand call Disciple here which I'm loving

Also like Sunday Riley Luna oil too.
