I’m optimistically buying summer dresses even though we had snow today
I suit turquoise and blue - quite like these and a few others on same site - seem ok price wise
Does anyone know about Adini sizing - I’m a 12-14 at present hoping to be back to a 10-12 by summer

I like the Marilyn, it has more shape around the waist. The destiny just sort of hangs.

optimisticpessimist01 · 23/01/2021 18:35

I agree with PP about the Marilyn dress having more shape, it will look much more flattering

ParisJeTAime · 23/01/2021 18:48

I also think the Marilyn! I usually prefer dresses with sleeves and I also prefer the print.

BlueSussex · 23/01/2021 18:51

How old are you?

I like both dresses but they are definitely for someone older than me, and I am 55......

OhCaptain · 23/01/2021 18:53

The Marilyn!

And I certainly don't think they're for older than 55!

pinkandblueflowers · 23/01/2021 18:55

The Marilyn

collywobble · 23/01/2021 18:56

I agree with @BlueSussex very aging style of dress. There's much nicer out there for the summer months.

Arrivederla · 23/01/2021 18:56

The colours are gorgeous but the styles are maybe a bit frumpy op?

JaceLancs · 23/01/2021 19:32

I’m 56
I suit a shift dress shape even though I’m an hourglass figure
I’ve got a really short torso with long legs so waists are often in the wrong place
I’m thinking of throw on for a hopefully hot day usage
I never wear shorts so if hot a dress would be my go to

JaceLancs · 23/01/2021 19:33

I’ve ended up ordering both so will try to remember to post back when they arrive
It’s not a shop I’ve ordered from before but was recommended it by a friend and there seems to be some quite good offers

Bluntness100 · 23/01/2021 19:37

I also think they are quite frumpy and ageing op, and I’m fifty two, I’d not wear them, and don’t know any one who would, my oldest close friend is fifty seven and she’d not wear something like those. You can find much more flattering ones.

tobegaor · 23/01/2021 19:48

They're so inexpensive why not get both?

JMAngel1 · 23/01/2021 19:50

You are way too young to wear either of those.

OhCaptain · 23/01/2021 19:54

Maybe they're not inexpensive to everyone?
OhCaptain · 23/01/2021 19:54

I'm shocked at how many people think mid 50s is too young for this style. I would have said this was exactly appropriate for mid 50s!

😂😂😂😂
OhCaptain · 23/01/2021 23:07

@Bluntness100 I’m serious!

Maybe not the first one admittedly. But the second one with the right shoes? I honestly think it would look lovely. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Onlinedilema · 23/01/2021 23:20

What I like about the second one is the fact it has sleeves and pockets .

Bluntness100 · 23/01/2021 23:23

No way you’d get me, or anyone I know in that age range, in those, they are like something hyacinth bouquet would wear.

Sorry Op, but they are.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 23/01/2021 23:26

I'm 54 and think they are incredibly frumpy. No way would I wear either of them.

Bluntness100 · 23/01/2021 23:29

This is the last summer dress I bought. I wear it a longer than the model, so about two inches above the knee,. I’ll be wearing it again this summer with flip flops.

That's not a nice dress imo. You clearly have very different taste to the op. What was the point in posting it?
Bluntness100 · 23/01/2021 23:36

Clearly the point is to show what’s not frumpy and women in this age range would more typically wear. 😂

Well I think that dress is a bit young for a 50 something woman. Nothing wrong with the two dresses the op posted about.
Bluntness100 · 23/01/2021 23:40

A bit young? 😂
