The perfect pink powder blusher- suggestions needed

Help needed finding the 'perfect ' pink blusher for my pale winter skin! It sounds an easy enough item to find but after 1 too many online blusher failings I need some suggestions. I prefer a powder blusher over a cream as find creams hard to blend. I was thinking more of a soft/baby pink , nothing too bright. Any help would be much appreciated!

Another vote for Glossier Cloud Paints - puff is lovely and you can mix shades to create your own. Just watch out as loads comes out the tube and you only need a dot, it’s pretty pigmented.

Fenty Beauty do some nice cream blushes too

Nate Deep Throat is like Orgasm without the glitter. Makes you look healthy.

Dandelion is too pale. The best pale pink blush was Natural Collection at Boots in Pink Cloud. They still sell it but it has been reformulated and the colour has changed. I have old one and new one, different shades the rotters. It was my HG.

Tibury Love Glow is good, two shades, one with slight shimmer and a fab pink.

If you want to go down the NARS power blush route, then Impassioned is a good choice for pale, cool-toned skin. I've done a lot of research into this as I'm also of similar skin tone to you :-)

Melange99 · 14/01/2021 09:49

@missl1 Looks like Impassioned is discontinued?? I was interested in this myself.

missl1 · 14/01/2021 09:53

@Melange99 Oh no really? Grrrrr.

Mychildkeepswhining · 14/01/2021 10:42

Thank you once again everyone. I've spent a bit of time looking at images/swatches of all suggested and decided that mac well dressed was more or less the exact colour I was thinking....so have gone ahead and ordered from look fantastic (it is still available MissSmiley). It was a close call though between that and a couple of the others! Have tried nars orgasm before but seemed to have more of a peachy colour to it when applied rather than a pink. Maybe because of the gold in it.

Bloody NARS keep discontinuing the good stuff!

Megan2018 · 14/01/2021 11:06

I use Dandelion
It is very subtle though, I actually put it all over my face as it makes me look healthier (with extra on cheeks).
I don’t do make up often though and I do prefer very natural.

LBB2020 · 14/01/2021 12:13

Charlotte Tilbury first love is a soft subtle pink

dizzyupthegirl86 · 14/01/2021 12:22

I find orgasm and deep throat too yellowy for me. I use easy A which looks HORRIFYFING in the pan but blends really nicely with no sheen and is perfect on my v pale skin.

afrikat · 14/01/2021 12:35

Does it have to be powder? I use a watercolour blusher by Daniel Sandler and its lovely. Pricey but lasts forever

Mychildkeepswhining · 15/01/2021 08:10

Lots of votes for Dandelion so am tempted to get that in a mini (thank you Remus) as well. Have found a cheap ish one someone is selling on Ebay. X

Do any of these blushers come with a brush?

Mychildkeepswhining · 15/01/2021 11:36

The mac well dressed one doesn't but I find the little brushes you generally get with a blusher to be useless anyway so always use a proper blusher brush...even an old Chanel blusher I came across in my wardrobe recently had an awful cheap looking brush with it and I remember that that cost an awful lot of money when I bought it for my wedding day 20 years ago....but thinking about it was the best thing to come out of that disaster of a marriage!! The husband only lasted 7 months but the chanel blusher (even the brush) is still going strong!

Surratt in barbe a papa

I get SO many compliments on it

Mychildkeepswhining · 15/01/2021 11:44

Melange99**
Yes! Im sure that that is the exact one I used to use and was perfect but tried to get another few months ago when testers were stopped and couldn't find one the same colour (the name had worn off so could only go by the fact it was a boots natural collection one)!

Dandelion is great. I also use it layered with a Bobby Brown cream blusher in more of a coral which doesn’t seem to be available any more.

I also have Benefit’s rocketeur which I find to be a slightly more glam Dandelion.

PurpleDaisies · 15/01/2021 12:07

Dior rosy glow here.

HerselfIndoors · 15/01/2021 16:13

Another vote for Dandelion here, I'm very pale-skinned and it's perfect for making you look healthy and rosy but not covered in blusher IYSWIM. Comes with a nice brush too.

Makeuplover · 15/01/2021 19:12

No7 damson here.

BlueSussex · 15/01/2021 19:23

Blusher is one of those things I can't ever see the benefit of if I spend lots of money on it.

Currently using Rimmel Maxi Blush in Exposed. I am VERY pale and need a strong pink or it doesn't show at all, especially on screen for virtual meetings etc

Freaksandgeeks · 15/01/2021 22:25

Nars Orgasm - I find Benefit blocks my pores x

redroses86 · 16/01/2021 09:02

Benefit Dandelion is barely visible on me.
However, DeepThroat by Nars is perfect. It’s like Orgasm but without the glitter.
Hourglass do a lovely one too, Sublime Flush.

peachypetite · 16/01/2021 09:03

Bobbi brown pale pink - looks really really pink in the packagaing but it’s not at all. I’m very pale and it suits me.

Zengarden001 · 16/01/2021 11:45

Not sure which shade but imo Nars does the best blushers.
