My hair always looks a bit dry and in bad condition. I don’t wash it everyday but it does get a quick straighten most days..

Tell me your best hair masks/conditioners finds that actually work!!

This is an old fashioned one but my go-to when my hair needs a boost: Vitapointe leave in conditioner. £2 in Boots so not the end of the world if it doesn't suit. Only use a tiny bit and only on the ends or where it is really needed

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/01/2021 18:42

Literally anything aveda. If you use irons though you need their glossing straightener too.

Eesha · 05/01/2021 07:23

Moroccan Oil always makes my hair look and smell great

PurpleDaisies · 05/01/2021 07:25

Olaplex. I use number 3 once a week and number 6 every time I blow dry my hair. Expensive but lasts for ages.

grey12 · 05/01/2021 07:28

Got Cantu natural hair conditioner for the kids and it's great and smells wonderful

Greatmusic · 05/01/2021 16:41

I like John Frieda Frizz-Ease Daily Miracle Leave-In Conditioner - when I can be bothered and not daily as I don't wash my hair daily.

sequinednostrils · 06/01/2021 18:43

Joico- reconstructor and hydrator. I had breaking, fine fluffy hair and this has really made a difference

SomewhatBored · 06/01/2021 18:52

Not a premium product, but Garnier Ultimate Blends hair food mask - used on the ends only as a leave-in after rinsing. The coconut one is particularly good.

ContraryMaryIII · 06/01/2021 19:14

I recently bought a Knight & Wilson Pureplex Hair repair System from Superdrug. It's about £12.

I think it's a knock off Opalex I use Part 2 & 3 every time I dye my hair so every 2 weeks. It leaves my hair soft silky and frizz free, I get about 4 - 6 uses out of each box and I have long hair so good value for the results.

Rainydays200 · 06/01/2021 19:32

Olaplex has made a big difference to the slightly frizzy ends of my high kites hair. A much bigger difference than any conditioner, or mask has ever done. Def recommend

Living Proof Restore range, especially the mask

LadyOfTheCanyon · 06/01/2021 19:53

L'Oréal Elvive Dream lengths range. Full of silicone but that seems to work for me and I just use a clarifying shampoo every few washes.

Garnier Ultimate blends Hair Food with aloe Vera and coconut.

Elasticiser when I can be bothered.

autumnpie · 06/01/2021 19:58

For me Aveda Damage Remedy. I also don't wash my hair as often now.

I have been uaing a different Aveda product for a few years which did improve my hair a lot compared to other products but I then started trying the Damage Remedy about 2 months ago and my hair finally feels in good condition and doesn't feel crazy dry.

CommanderBurnham · 06/01/2021 20:33

Another one for olaplex. But only if your hair is damaged by chemicals or heat.

I also put a few drops of Kerastase oleo relax through my hair after I've washed it. Makes it smooth and shiny.

I've been using those 2 products for over 6 years.

Sosigsandwich · 06/01/2021 20:42

Christophe Robin sea salt scrub on my greasy hair has been life changing. Not cheap but you need a tiny amount. I use vosene first and then use the salt and my hair shines.

flossletsfloss · 06/01/2021 20:48

Olaplex and Nioxin

minnie465 · 06/01/2021 21:16

Olaplex when getting highlights done (hairdresser puts it in with the colour) And

Deal: Revlon UniqONE Professional Hair Treatment https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00M9B66BU/ref=cmswwrcppapiiidlT4PII9FbSER764B

This leave in conditioner.

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 06/01/2021 21:31

Another vote for Olaplex! 3/4/5 and 6.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 06/01/2021 21:45

Olaplex no 3, again. I leave it on as an overnight mask at the weekend. I have just spent some christmas money on the shampoo and conditioner. The no 3 on its own makes my thinning menopausal curly hair look like a lion's mane, so marvellous stuff. I tried the small size, to check it was good. The larger size is much better value. Lookfantastic often do about 20% off.

Blushtassel · 06/01/2021 23:15

Davines Nounou. The first shampoo I’ve used that I haven’t needed to use conditioner with, it leaves my hair really hydrated but not weighed down. I do like the nounou hair mask as well.

NaughtyNell · 09/01/2021 07:34

Coconut oil through dry hair, soak hair in it. Plastic bag on head overnight and shampoo out in morning works amazingly. Also Psntene 3 minute miracle

Covidcovid · 09/01/2021 07:41

How much of the olaplex no 3 do you have to use each time....I watched a video and it looked like the woman used half the bottle!

Othering · 09/01/2021 07:48

Olaplex 0 followed by 3 is miraculous.

Custardcream67 · 09/01/2021 08:19

Sounds like a lot of votes for olaplex. Might have to give that a go! Thanks everyone.
