My hair always looks a bit dry and in bad condition. I don’t wash it everyday but it does get a quick straighten most days..

Make sure you get No 0 though. It's the magic product that makes the real difference.

@autumnpie

For me Aveda Damage Remedy. I also don't wash my hair as often now.

I have been uaing a different Aveda product for a few years which did improve my hair a lot compared to other products but I then started trying the Damage Remedy about 2 months ago and my hair finally feels in good condition and doesn't feel crazy dry.

Which DR products do you use? Which are best?

Olaplex 3, without a shadow of a doubt. It’s not a deep conditioner though- it repairs your hair. If you need moisture too, I’d try garnier hair food mask and see how you go. I use Olaplex 3 and then a hair mask once a week.

@Covidcovid I have quite a lot of hair, and I find if I blob something the size of a 50p piece, about 3 in the stack, iyswim, is fine. I don't need to do it every week, about every 2 is fine. I leave it on overnight as a mask, which maybe helps me need less. Don't use half a bottle, you'll be broke! Grin

I swear by Aveda Damage Remedy too and they have 20% off , free delivery and free samples at the moment. There is another thread about it . Code LIB20 .

Thanks. Do you use the full set? Shampoo, conditioner and the products? I've been using shampure and it's changed my hair for the better. Love it. And the smell. But I just wonder if the DR will be even better for me!
TuxedoPantherSheHer · 09/01/2021 09:19

Olaplex 0 & 3
Christophe Robin Prickly Pear Mask
Rhatma Activating Treatment

hMG206 · 09/01/2021 09:25

Olaplex is alright but I’ve bumped it for Kerastase Resistance

SandyDays · 09/01/2021 09:30

I've just ordered some Olaplex no0, 3 and 6 so fingers crossed it lives up to the hype! 20% off but still pricey Confused

I use the shampoo and conditioner daily and have used the more intensive products occasionally when I have had a sample or a discounted one from the store which is sadly now closed :(

I find the shampoo and conditioner more than adequate to tame my thatch!
