I thought the same. Looks far too big and I really don't like the colour either.

Gosh I think it's lovely on her. A beautiful coat worn so well. She has such a lovely slim figure.,
I think she looks very tired - though the mask tends to draw attention to the eyes and if they are tired it shows.

I think it's a beautiful cost, I love the pattern and the scalloped edge. Maybe it's a bit wide round the middle? She looks elegant, thought. I like her shoes and bag.

For me probably the coat she's worn I like the least. Really looks too 'old' for her.

All her coats are too long for me too.

Tbh I really liked seeing her in a slightly different silhouette. I don’t think it’s too big, I think we’re just so used to seeing her in very, very close cut clothing.

While I do think that it's a beautifully made coat, to me it seems a very Mother of the Bride style, and a generation too old for Kate. Imagine it in café au [ait or ecru, it's a typical MotB outfit.
I wonder if she may have chosen it to recall her own wedding at the Abbey?

I don't think it is a particularly appropriate outfit for visiting a vaccination centre either, she would have been better wearing something warm and a bright jolly colour!

It looks just the wrong length. I noticed she was wearing a normal / medical face mask today.

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of that white coat/coat dress. I think it's very dowdy and ageing. I can see that it's a beautifully made thing, but it's far too fussy for my taste.

Would the medical grade mask be needed in a medical setting? Maybe she has been criticized for wearing a cotton mask. I'm sure the past couple of weeks have been stressful.

I'm not a fan of Kate's coat today, I don't like the scalloped edge on it at all. I agree that it's not her usual perfect fit but I don't think it's you-know-what as she's been quite visible all through lockdown and with the previous you-know-whats she was so poorly that she wasn't doing engagements etc. I will give her bonus points for it not being as tight a round neck as she often opts though though

I love the necklace Max is wearing, you could easily copy it with some beads, cord and feathers!
