Hello - let's hope we get a bit more glamour this year and fingers crossed for some tiara watching....

Going back to the Will and Kate decor, I read the other day (though can’t remember where) that the Queen is allowing them to use Sandringham as an office/zoom meeting location.

Which is nice as they get to have a separate ‘work’ location (though I’m sure Amner affords more opportunities for this than most people’s wfh set-ups!) - and also explains the table in front of the doors a bit, as I’m sure Sandringham is a bit more stately and has big interconnecting rooms that HM might split up for increased cosiness!

Loved the Swedish retro @banivani! If I was going to join any royal fam I think it would be the Swedish one . All the best frocks.

Also spotted my favourite /Princess duo from the vanity fair article when I scrolled down...

Princess Sofia has been out and about, showing us some maternity fashion. She looks great!

More top half only looks from the DoC - her hair really is quite something! Yes Hairy I read the same about them using an office at Sandringham.

I've just been watching Secrets of the Royal Palaces on Channel 5. It's pretty trashy, but this evening's episode featured the Vladimir tiara for the last 5-10 mins. I was so fascinated to hear how it was smuggled out of Russia, and that it's now estimated to be worth £10m. They then said it's stored in a vault the size of an ice rink beneath Buckingham Palace! Can this be true?

Trouble is, it's a Wednesday, and that's one of the days my DS is here as we're his support bubble. (He came close to a breakdown in the lockdown last year.) So I'd have to coordinate dinner, and then tell him he can't talk to me for 90 minutes, and I'm not sure that's a good idea. Does anyone know if these talks are available afterwards somewhere?

Great find. I was gutted to have missed an exhibition showing dresses a few years ago.

Beatrice's dress is in the photo l think? It's really lovely but l'm not sure about the proportions of the sleeve 🤔

I just had a google and think B's dress looks better on. I t hi ink the combination of puff sleeve and the band are a bit 😬 Surely Stuart Parvin could have come up with something more imaginative if she has tinahve her shoulders covered.

Great photo of Princess Anne, but her sitting room is terribly cluttered! I feel I'd like to give it a good clear out, which I'm sure she'd hate!

The photo of Anne and Tim is great, the house is what I imagined... comfy, cluttered and not pretentious. There's someone who wouldn't be fazed if you spilt tea on the sofa.

Not only do they look so alike, it turns out that Mary and Marie have their birthdays one day apart. Marie turned 45 today and here's her official portrait.

In that photo of Princess Mary, it looks like she has been messing with tweaking her face a little.

How fab to see inside Anne's house! Interesting, as it's the most ridiculously grand stately home on the outside and that room looks like a hoarder's paradise! Definitely dogs on the sofa and relax with a biscuit (no plate needed) to watch TV. Fascinating!
It makes me like Anne all the more-what you see is what you get.
She'd have made a good monarch I think.
