Next VIP Sale Dec 2020

I've got a VIP slot for 6.30 tomorrow, does anyone know when the sale actually starts?

I usually get all excited at the sale preview, count down the minutes like it's midnight in 1999, pen and credit card at the ready .... and then 'pop', like a cheap firework from Lidl, all that's left as 'Kylie' pillowcase and a Christmas bauble with the letter F on it!!

So, do I pour myself a snowball at 6.25 tomorrow, or take the dog out for her nightly walk?!! Anyone??

I think I have 5.30pm so might have a choice of baubles and a pair of cot bed sized sheets on top.

I have a 16:30 slot, I've looked at the preview and not expecting fireworks unfortunately. I might have a bauble with the choice of F, X, or Z.

I'm not holding out much hope ... I'll be getting the left hand part of a burgundy check chaise lounge, if I'm lucky it won't I!! 😩

Staff slots are a day or two earlier than the public ones. That’s usually why there’s just a few random things left in stock.

When did you get an email. I’ve ordered loads over the year and no email!

I never bother anymore. Even if you book an early vip slot it's all size 6 or size 24, spend ages navigating the useless website search and finding that it's all out of stock even though it shows in a search. Life's too short. Interesting about the staff slots though!

Same here I didn't bother this year or this summer, as mentioned previously finding anything is hard, you have to be so quick to check out and it's rare anything decent is left. I can't waste my time on it.

Mines at 3pm. I write all the codes down and quickly get through them. I got a couple of bits last time. Not holding out much hope this time.

By some miracle, I’ve got a 2pm slot. I have noticed a few items disappearing from the preview already, so all the food stuff will already go to staff.

I’m not overly fussed this time, but could do with some jumpers for myself and DS.

I've booked my slot and really don't know why I've bothered.

Its rare I've ever actually picked up anything I wanted/needed. Although last year I got a good winter coat half price.

Mines 5.30, all I need is some curtains but I don't hold out much hope for there being any left! Can't remember the last time I actually bought from the VIP sale, it's just rubbish in random sizes usually.

Hahahahaha this made me laugh out loud! One year I spent ages writing a list of all the item codes. My slot started & I got absolutely nothing. I have 7pm this year because i forgot to book my slot. I won’t bother writing the item codes out this time xx

I’ve had a look through the preview and there’s really nothing that I want or need

I’ve got one at 4:30pm.
No email I happened to see it on the website and booked a slot. Not holding out much hope there will be anything left by 4:30pm as it starts at 2pm.
It doesn’t seem to be as good as the last Xmas sale

I’ve got a slot for 3pm. A couple of the things I noted down have already disappeared from the site, presumably sold to staff. Hopefully the website won’t crash this time!

I've got a 2pm slot, purely by luck, had logged in for something else and the booking option was there. A few things I've bought for Christmas are in the sale, so I'll reorder them and return the originals!

My slots tomorrow so I'll be looking at all the tat you guys leave behind!

@Orf1abc often sale stuff doesn't get drivers straight away so might be delivered after Christmas

I got some fab stuff ordered in the pre-first lockdown one, it was an amazing haul: lovely baby outfits for 2020 arrivals, lovely older children clothes, shoes too and some nice lounge wear for those months of being home ripping my hair out with Home Learning. Then the whole order got cancelled after weeks of waiting which was a pain - although understandable with the pressure put on warehouse staff and the delivery drivers at the time.
I’ve not booked a slot for this one as my bank account is looking a bit sad and I didn’t want to risk order roulette again.

How did everyone do? The handbag I really wanted wasn’t available but I managed to order my second choice bag, a dress and some clothes for my DC.

How’s it gone for those of you with an earlier slot?

I've been in and spent the grand total of £83.

When i first started getting VIP invitations I used to kit out the whole family for the year ahead and spend about £1000.

I'd be hard pressed to do that now. Its a bit. boring.

I had a 5.30 slot. Got a Fat Face dress, Hill & Friends clutch for £27 and a Label/mix jumper.

I got quite a few bits but not had a confirmation email? When I logged back in it wasn't showing under orders and returns. Does that mean it didn't go through?
