@Sooverthemill the hush trousers I ordered were the Gemma culottes. I think @Ellapaella might have them? I've always admired them so thought I'd try them when I saw them in the sale, but they're not the right fit on me. I'm quite chunky of thigh and they need someone far leaner than me to pull them off!

Hello again everyone,

My plan to wear dresses and post everyday last week fell apart a bit - we got some work done on our house and the place was pretty chaotic so ended up escaping to my mum's for a couple of days and living in my dungarees. Back to it this week though! Today's outfit - Jumper: H&M, Dress: New Look; Thermal leggings: M&S

We also had snow here yesterday - DS is 2 and it was the first time he'd experienced it so it was magical to see his reaction!

Lazy again here with Sainsbury’s leggings and an old tee shirt. Feeling a bit down and generally sluggish, so stuck on some pale pink Mary Janes to cheer me up (bespoke-made from a now sadly defunct shoemaking company). @Sickoffamilydrama, I adore that Monsoon dress! So pretty and it looks fab on you

Very dull outfit for work today. Super cold here so all about the warmth:

Jumper: Phase 8
Trousers: Black wool Jigsaw (circa 2009)
Shoes: Timberland wedge lace up

The past two days have been snow days for me so no decent outfits!
Someone was actually snowboarding down the hill outside my back gate earlier (and I live South East/ East Midands) so not at all what I expected to see.

@toastfiend I love that pink top, I'd say it's a keeper. It looks very versatile.

Cinnamon buns look very tasty. Cold but no snow here. M&S dress and thermal, Hobbs cardigan, thermal tights

like the mary Janes I miss wearing heels tried an old pair on the other day and my feet just scream think I'll have to admit defeat soon and get my bunion fixed...I wasn't even a proflic heel wearer so annoyed i've got one!

How did the jeans go today @Sooverthemill I am thankful that hipsters are out as I always struggled to feel comfortable in them even in my slimmer teenage days, they look good on you though.

My final Next sale buy came today and it's a no the shape is great on me but for a start two buttons had already fallen off and the leather is to shinny, finally the buttons gape when I sit down so not a flattering look unless I stay standing!

I am a total lurker these days, so please excuse me barging in, but I had to comment @Sickoffamilydrama to say that skirt looks incredible on you! Seriously stunning. Don’t send it back!

Have to agree with @Miseryisabutterfly, @sickoffamilydrama. I love the skirt (so much so that I actually bought it this evening after seeing your post then seeing it on sale on ASOS, even though they only had petite and I certainly don't fit that bracket...) It makes your waist look TINY! Totally get it if it's not right for you, though, but it does look lovely on. Thanks re the shirt, too, it's definitely versatile so I think I am going to keep it. I never have enough smart/casual tops to hand when I need them and I've had a bit of a clear out of anything that looks a bit tired recently. They did have all the sizes available at John Lewis when I bought it (it comes up big, mine is a small and I'm definitely not small!) They've got it in a khaki and a black, too, but I liked the pink colour best.

Thanks @toastfiend & @Miseryisabutterfly it is a great shape unfortunately with button up items they can do this, had another try this morning and I don't think even extra buttons will help. If I go a size up it will be to lose at the waist although might see if any left in there sales.

I agree about the skirt shape @Sickoffamilydrama. You now need to search for an alternative!

So I massively overslept and have t dine yoga which I'm gutted about but DH has been working since 7.30! Had blood test results yesterday finally and long talk with GP. She now needs to be retested in March plus additional blood test ASAP to look for something different which is indicated by the results ( plus the 1000 times I've asked over the last year to have the blood test for). Got to love the NHS

Back to my comfort zone here. You would have found me in a current version of this most years since about 1990 I reckon!

I really love the green one, I like the cropped length on me and it's a totally different colour for me but very cheering! I really like the other one too, it's got sparkly thread running through it (I think @OublietteBravo may have the same one?) but I'm just not sure if it's maybe a little long - I've got short legs and I'm a bit self-conscious about hip length tops making them look even shorter

@Sickoffamilydrama I agree with everyone else, that skirt shape looks amazing on you! How frustrating about the buttons, hope you find something similar

My new Dune boots arrived. I'm a bit disappointed. They're quite narrow so I think they look like they're too tight on me. They're fun, and I do like them, but I'm not sure they're very flattering. Damn my chunky legs! I've got a virtual work event this evening so my new shirt, and more make up than usual, are featuring today.

just had some cheap £19 for 5 bralettes arrive from Amazon.

Saw a woman on Instagram recommend bralettes for underneath bodysuits or anything that is a little tighter and I would never have thought of it otherwise.

They also work underneath a summer dress that I struggle to wear because every bra shows.
