Would you get them fixed?

Straightened, whitened and evened out in length?

If these were your teeth

I've had years of dental work and my teeth aren't that nice. You are very lucky to have such lovely teeth.

Don't damage healthy teeth for cosmetics.

grassisjeweled · 02/12/2020 23:11

Pretty good teeth op

EvilEdna1 · 02/12/2020 23:15

Be wary of messing with healthy teeth.....I am a living example of why this is not a good idea!

TheLadyOfShallnott · 02/12/2020 23:16

I think they look just fine!

Kokosrieksts · 02/12/2020 23:17

Nothing wrong with them visually

FuckYouCorona · 02/12/2020 23:43

Is this a stealth boast? Hmm

CorianderQueen · 02/12/2020 23:47

They're fine, but then I've had mine straightened and whitened as a teen and now I'm getting composites so it's whatever makes you happy really.

janetmendoza · 02/12/2020 23:49

That bite is very wrong op unless you have done that for the photo?

PickAChew · 02/12/2020 23:50

Nah. That's what teeth look like. They don't naturally form perfectly straight lines like dentures.

Just stop grimacing :o

exPR · 02/12/2020 23:53

Your teeth are lovely!
I agree with PP who’ve meddled with their adult teeth and are saying do nothing - I’ve now got recessed gums, exposed roots and a dead front tooth because of adult braces.

Composite veneer to cover the dead tooth has damaged the tooth underneath further and I’m now possibly looking at a crown.

I wish I hadn’t bothered with any of it!

I would pay twice what my gnarled gnashers have cost to have teeth like yours!

MiscellaneousMinutiae · 03/12/2020 00:17

Nope.

Janegrey333 · 03/12/2020 00:34

Seem to need a bit of work.

Janegrey333 · 03/12/2020 00:36

Surely not?

😮

Really? How come? worried for my own teeth post-braces now lol

scruffyandlockeddown · 03/12/2020 07:18

@Janegrey333 what would you suggest?

@FuckYouCorona no - I'm very self conscious of my teeth. Think @Janegrey333 can see why!

Infinitethings · 03/12/2020 07:23

Is that your actual bite, with your top teeth behind your bottom teeth?

Lovely teeth otherwise.

instanthistoryy · 03/12/2020 07:49

I have a condition that causes constant pain from dental work so I definitely wouldn't especially as they look absolutely fine. You could get them whitened if you really want to.

BusterGonad · 03/12/2020 07:52

I think we need to see your teeth in context with your face as it does look like you are biting like that on purpose. We need to see your jaw line and while face.

namochangoro · 03/12/2020 08:17

Your teeth look great. You could look up 'mewing' though which is a technique that creates good tongue and mouth posture which keeps teeth in good alignment. According the creator of the term the alignment of teeth is hugely affected by mouth and tongue posture much in the same way as spine alignment can be affected by posture.

@OffredOfjune some of my teeth were very misaligned so had to move quite far into spaces with less gum tissue. Gum tissue doesn’t grow back so you’re stuck with what was there before the teeth moved.

The dead tooth was bad luck - it’s one of the risks they warn you about when you get braces but it’s very rare. My orthodontist tried to blame it on me getting hit in the face at some stage before braces but all x-rays show the roots were fine when I got them on - plus I’d remember getting hit in the face!

QuestionEverythingOrBeASheep · 03/12/2020 11:48

Lovely teeth. I would just get them whitened to hide the Fluorosis. Crest 3d Whitening strips are awesome and only around £25 for a 7 day supply. They work wonders and are a small fraction of dental treatments that cost hundreds.

tiers4fears · 03/12/2020 11:49

Absolutely not, you have lovely teeth.

Anotherducker · 03/12/2020 11:51

You’ve got lovely teeth.

Is everyone else doing teeth selfies now too?

justanotherneighinparadise · 03/12/2020 12:38

I would leave them alone and be very grateful they were so lovely.

MarshaBradyo · 03/12/2020 12:41

Definitely not evened out in length nor straightened

But maybe whitened
