If these were your teeth

Would you get them fixed?

Straightened, whitened and evened out in length?

If these were your teeth

I’ve been thinking about this myself (you don’t need to by the way). I think sometimes teeth can look too perfect and then you lose character in your face.

Sometimes slight imperfections are what make you beautiful.

I’ve decided just to keep mine healthy and get them whitened. It’s interesting to hear people’s issues with adult braces. Teeth aren’t supposed to be absolutely perfect and brilliant white.

Ignore posters who just throw one liners in, in a bitchy way.

What has your dentist said?

I would only do something if they felt the tips needed protecting. Nothing cosmetic.

When I had my braces off I was 14/15 and said I wanted the front ones filed to make them even (or some such shit) and without my parents permission he did. Nothing but bloody trouble!

They're perfectly lovely teeth, honestly, leave them well alone unless (2) dentist/s tell you there's something they can do to protect them (and not just line their pockets)

Your teeth look great, but it does look as if you have a cross / under bite. I had this and got braces as an adult. It was expensive and took the best part of three years to correct, but worth it.

Sasuma · 03/12/2020 14:59

Your teeth look completely fine! Is there anything specific that’s bothering you about them? They look pretty good to me!

fiorentina · 03/12/2020 15:28

Your teeth are fairly similar to mine and I’ve recently had a quote for Invisalign and whitening. I’m yet to go ahead as I’ve had other things to spend money on, but if it would make you feel better and your dentist agrees then why not? It’s a personal choice.

User258544 · 03/12/2020 15:33

They look fine to me. Nothing obviously wrong. I had inward teeth and got a brace, back when they were a frigging nightmare. In the end after 4 years I said take them off. I'd say mine are on a par with yours and I feel good about the top ones and less confident with the bottom. I'm focusing on oral hygiene and possibly whitening and I might get a couple of enamel spots fixed on the front two. It is not cheap, your best bet is to properly dicuss with a dentist.

Ghostlyglow · 03/12/2020 20:23

Your teeth are lovely. I'm jealous, mine are hideous.

ArtieFufkinPolymerRecords · 03/12/2020 20:25
**@Janegrey333 what would you suggest?

@FuckYouCorona no - I'm very self conscious of my teeth. Think @Janegrey333 can see why!
So you respond to the only poster who says you should have work on your teeth, and ignore all those who say you don't.

scruffyandlockeddown · 03/12/2020 20:45

@ArtieFufkinPolymerRecords sorry - didn't intend to seem rude!

I do appreciate all the responses.

I wish they were my teeth
They’re fine and don’t need work

huuuuunnnndderrricks · 04/12/2020 20:22

Your teeth are lovely , leave them alone ! Most slebs have horrible veneers which aren't normal . Don't compare yourself to them , your teeth look lovely and natural !

Serafinaaa · 05/12/2020 11:23

The teeth are fine but the bite isn't. Is that how they naturally close?

BaNsh · 05/12/2020 17:12

Your teeth are white enough but very see through 🙈
They dont need length tweak, the perfect look is so falsies dentures. Its aging and very early 2000s.
I would consider some bonding maybe a veneer to strengthen them.

Are your jaws stacked like that or did gnarl to show your teeth? Because if thats how they are then your lower jaw is too forward and upper jaw too backwards.
