A dozen carnations. I am an ageing pale skinned brunette and wanted something to brighten me up - a change from the nudes or pinks. I really can’t wear red - they all go a horrible beetroot on me - but a dozen carnations stays a lovely orangey coral reddish colour. I have never seen a carnation anything like the colour of the lipstick but lipstick names are a law unto themselves.....
